Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevin Sarreal
Hi Kevin, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started my golf page three years ago right around the same time I started learning how to play golf. Growing up, the game never really interested me, and I definitely didn’t have the patience for it. But after college, I saw all my friends hitting the course and going on fun golf trips, and I knew I had to get in on the action. What started as a simple way to track my progress and connect with other golfers quickly turned into something bigger. Once I started incorporating my sense of humor into my posts and leaning into the comedic side of the game, my page took off—and I’ts been a crazy journey ever since.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Golf is one of the most challenging sports out there, and that’s exactly what I love about it. Every round, every swing is an opportunity to improve, and I’m always working to get better. I’ve spent countless hours watching YouTube swing tips, grinding at the range, and analyzing my game, always thinking about what I need to work on next.
Content creation comes with its own set of challenges. It takes time, patience, and a lot of trial and error to find your voice. Some people have a natural talent for it and see instant success, while others put in countless hours with little to show for it. The hardest part is not getting discouraged when something you’ve poured time and effort into doesn’t perform well. I’ve had plenty of posts flop, but each one taught me something valuable—what works, what doesn’t, and how to improve. That learning process is what’s brought me to where I am today.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a golf content creator, and my content is best known for being hilarious, relatable, and sometimes just showcasing the interesting things I come across on the course. One of the things I’m most proud of is when someone recognizes me in public—whether it’s at the gym, the driving range, or even at work. Knowing that something I created has been widely shared and enjoyed is an incredible feeling.
What sets me apart is that all of my content is original and organic. Even when I jump on trends, I always put my own spin on them or find a way to tie them into golf. I believe that being unique and authentic is one of the biggest factors in standing out as a creator.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
If you’re just starting out in golf, I highly recommend taking lessons. I tried learning on my own and ended up spending a lot of time developing bad habits that were tough to break. Starting with a solid foundation will make the learning process so much smoother and help you improve much faster.
For new content creators, my advice is simple—just go for it. Ignore that voice of doubt and don’t worry about what others, including friends and family, might think. The sooner you get past the fear of being judged, the sooner you’ll find your rhythm and start building a community around your content.
