Today we’d like to introduce you to Melody Trice.
Hi Melody, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
It all started when I moved to California by faith in 2013 believing my life offered much more! With trusting the process, I had opportunities of a lifetime. I was able to model and act in movies and television and even became the host of my own talk show called “The Melody Trice Show.” I develop my brand “Unlimited life with Melody Trice.” That led me to public speaking and becoming an award winning tv personality and much more.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Life has had its challenges but one thing for sure I didn’t let it stop me. When I began my talk show, I realized it was going to cost more than what I had at that time. But, I didn’t believe in not making excuses but making it happen, so I went to school to learn how to produce and edit. So I can make my dreams become a reality sooner than later. I wanted to be the narrator of my own story. Networking and meeting others was a big help in my career in the entertainment world. But, even that had its limitations, so by educating myself on the things I wanted to happen and applying that knowledge to my dreams, it became my reality.
There were many no’s and doors were closed in my face. I was told I was too curvy, needed more experience but I used that as energy to fuel my dreams. And later had some of those same people reach back out to work with me. I say, instead of making lemonade out of the lemons thrown at you. Take the seeds of the lemons and plant a garden and you’ll never go thirsty again. Meaning take what they say and fix it to work for your life.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Being in the entertainment industry of tv and film, I interview others and share their stories to inspire and motivate others that they too can do it. My speciality is helping others see in them what they can’t see. Inspiring them to be the best version of themselves. Also, I believe my personality is definitely a strength for me. When people talk to me, I believe that’s what people will remember the most. I’m proud that I can be myself and accomplish any goals I set my mind to do. And that came with a lot of discipline and hard work. I’m unlimited. Because of that, I can live my dream as a tv personality, actress, and model because I’m uniquely me. My spirit, my kindness and caring heart sets me apart, when others say no it can’t happen, I say let’s make it happen.
How do you define success?
When one realizes what they want and is clear on their vision. Clear of their goals, they are successful at that moment. But, when you realize you can do anything, that there are no limitations, but the ones you allow to sit in your mind and determine your outcome in your life. When you perfect your gifts and talents and skills, success will always follow you. They say your gifts will make room for you. So by being focused and targeting what you want and letting nothing stop you, you will reach your version of success. Remember success is not determined by someone else’s opinion of what one does or doesn’t do but that of one who has a clear vision for their life and acts on it.
