Rising Stars: Meet Nayeli Noyola of San Diego

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nayeli Noyola.

Hi Nayeli, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?

I moved to the United States from Mexico in 2001 when I was six years old. Growing up, I always knew I wanted to do something meaningful, something where I could help people while building a successful life and living the American Dream I heard so much about. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Services in 2016 and spent about four years working as a social worker. I loved being a resource for people and supporting them through difficult moments, but I also knew deep down that it wasn’t my long-term path.

One day in 2020, I was venting with my now-husband about a stressful day at work, he told me he thought I’d be great in real estate because people trust me and I connect easily with others. That conversation stuck with me so much that two weeks later, I enrolled in real estate courses, and about four months after that, I became a licensed real estate agent. Real estate came naturally to me because at its core, it’s about relationships and listening to people, understanding their goals, and guiding them through one of the biggest decisions of their lives. This isn’t just a job to me; it’s my business, and I take a lot of pride in that.

This career has been an incredible blessing. Being able to help someone achieve the milestone of homeownership is what drives me, and it’s the most rewarding part of what I do.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road, but that’s true for anything worth building. I started in real estate during the pandemic, when business was booming due to historically low interest rates. The years that followed came in waves, with both highs and lows.

One of the bigger challenges early on was building confidence, not just in my knowledge, but in myself as a business owner. Real estate pushes you outside your comfort zone and requires hearing “no” more often than “yes.” Another major adjustment was transitioning from a salaried position to a commission-based career. Learning how to manage slower periods, stay consistent, and trust the process took time. Ultimately, those challenges taught me discipline, resilience, and patience, and they played a big role in my personal and professional growth.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a residential real estate agent, and my work focuses on helping buyers and sellers navigate the homeownership process with clarity and confidence. I can help anyone to sell or purchase a property but I absolutely love my first-time home buyers.

What I’m most proud of is being able to help people achieve such a major life milestone, especially first-time buyers who may not think homeownership is possible for them. I take pride in educating my clients, advocating for them, and treating every transaction as if it were my own. It’s incredibly satisfying when I’m able to open someone’s eyes and help them see that homeownership is far more attainable than they once believed.

What sets me apart is that I don’t see real estate as just a transaction. This is my business, and my reputation matters to me. I lead with integrity, consistency, and genuine care for the people I work with, and that’s what allows me to build long-term relationships, not just close deals.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?

I truly had a beautiful childhood. I grew up in a loving, Christian home with both of my parents, who have been married for over 36 years, and my older brother. Family has always been very important to us, and it has created a strong foundation for who I am today. My faith in God is a huge part of my life and guides how I live and approach everything I do.

Personality-wise, I was always caring, loving, and very family-oriented. I found a lot of joy in the simple moments we shared together.

Some of my favorite memories growing up were camping trips, holidays with the family, and going to car races and car shows with my parents. Being outdoors and spending quality time together taught me to slow down, appreciate experiences, and be present values I still carry with me today.

Those same values show up in my life now. I’m 31 years old, married to the most loving and supportive husband, and we have a Dalmatian we adopted when she was about a year and a half old, she truly is our world. We love spending our free time camping, exploring national parks, and being outdoors together. We’re a family of three right now, and we look forward to continuing to grow our family in the very near future.
