Today we’d like to introduce you to Omar Berrios
Hi Omar, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve always had passion for music but at an early age I started to produce music for myself and local artist. I was touring at around 16 yrs old for about 2 years. During that time is when I really started to think about having my own recording studio and so the journey began. Passion, Creativity, Initiative and putting in the work is what has got me this far. I won’t be stopping no time soon!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Life is music. You have good days and sometimes it gets bumpy. As long as you keep digging for the answers then they will come. It’s been a good ride for me so far .
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a Music producer who specializes in making Out the Box Beats – I don’t consider myself labeled in one specific genre.
I’m most proud of sticking to my Hip Hop roots – creating a sound like no other which sets me apart.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I think what surprises most people about me is when they find out that I work in the Medical Field as a Phlebotomist.
