Rising Stars: Meet Stephanie Tenorio of San Diego

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Tenorio

Hi Stephanie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hello! My name is Stephanie, and I’m a passionate padel player. I started playing about two years ago after my brother introduced me to the sport. Although I’ve been playing tennis since I was six, the moment I tried padel, I instantly fell in love with it. While the sport is growing rapidly in the USA, it’s already huge worldwide, especially in Europe, Mexico, and Argentina.

I created my Instagram account, padelwithsteph, to share a variety of content, from padel tips and funny videos to outfit inspiration. As someone who’s always playing and training, I wanted to create content that others can relate to and enjoy. Most of my audience is Spanish-speaking, which is why I primarily post in Spanish, but I’ll also be sharing videos in English moving forward!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey has mostly been smooth, as there aren’t many people creating the type of content I produce. What began as a fun hobby on Instagram has now evolved into something more, and I’m excited to have the opportunity to collaborate with different brands!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m mostly known for my padel videos. In addition to this hobby, I work at a Digital Marketing Agency, which has given me a solid background in marketing. What sets me apart is that my content resonates with many padel players, as they can really relate to what I share. I’ve received countless messages and comments from people expressing how much they love my style and how I inspire new padel players to keep learning, while also providing outfit inspiration.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned on this journey is to never give up and always pursue your passions and dreams. When I first started playing, I often felt frustrated because I couldn’t grasp the game and wasn’t seeing immediate improvement. But after several training sessions and consistent practice, I began to notice progress, which made me want to keep getting better. This lesson applies not only to padel but to life in general — never give up, no matter how challenging it gets, and always keep striving toward your dreams.
