Today we’d like to introduce you to Zaneta Owens.
Hi Zaneta, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
During the pandemic, my fashion companies froze because I manufactured the Zaneta Owens handbags and Lord Owens clothes in Los Angeles, California. Months into the pandemic, I dreamt of starting a wine company. It was then I reached out to my now business partner Dr. Melinda Silva to be part founder of SaSy Wines. From there, we survived and grew SaSy Wines through then pandemic. We are so fortunate to have the background and support of our friends that were already involved in wine to guide us.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Because we started during the pandemic, the pace was a lot slower but as things begin to open, we are ramping up to keep up with the demand for wine and all our products.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in product development design. My current project is developing SaSy Wines and leading the company to growth. As an entrepreneur, I am proud of all my companies which include Zaneta Owens, Lord Owens and SaSy Wines. When you start companies, they become your babies. You nurture and give your time to success of each company. Part of that success has been the collaborated vision and plan for each company. Each company sets itself in an affordable luxury category that displays quality and craftmanship.
