Good morning Anna , we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: When was the last time you felt true joy?
Traveling to New York City to sketch at Fashion Week. Being immersed in the city’s energy and creativity during that time brought me joy and made me feel alive and inspired.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m a professional artist and fashion illustrator with a background in architecture and brand management. I’ve always loved drawing, but haven’t been able to commit myself to it as a full time job.
Moving to the United States in my mid-40s and returning to drawing felt like rediscovering myself.
Now I’m living the dream, growing as an artist, sketching at Fashion Weeks around the world, and working as event illustrator for brands like Prada and Bottega Veneta.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was a business woman and a single mom working 24/7 trying to survive in the big city,
What’s something you changed your mind about after failing hard?
Don’t be a perfectionist. Make mistakes, but learn from them. Mistakes might lead you to something else which will be rewarded.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes it is. I am 55 years old, but still feel like I am in my late 30s. Age gives you the power to not to pretend or prove anything anymore. I am who I am, true to myself and to others.
