Athena, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I firmly believe that the first 90 minutes of the day establish the tone for the remainder of the day. Upon waking in the morning, I reflect on the invaluable privilege it is to be alive, to breathe, to think, to enjoy, and to love. I dedicate 15 minutes to contemplating the numerous things I am grateful for and offering prayers for my family and friends. Additionally, I always extend an invitation to my canine companion, Jasper, to join me for our morning affectionate bonding time. ❤️🙏🏼🐾
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am Athena, owner and developer of Infinite-Smile Premium Teeth Whitening. With over 25 years of experience in the dental field, I possess a comprehensive background as a certified dental assistant and dental technician. My expertise extends to crafting porcelain crowns, dental veneers, and bridges, which demand considerable focus and dedication. As the proprietor of Infinite Smile Premium Teeth Whitening for the past 13 years, I take great pleasure in enhancing the radiance of my clients’ smiles. I firmly believe that my father and stepmother have been the most instrumental in teaching me the value of a strong work ethic, as they embody the qualities of resilience, diligence, and perseverance. As role models, they have consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to their endeavors, and I have been fortunate enough to witness and learn from their exemplary work habits. When faced with the prospect of shutting down my Teeth Whitening business due to the pandemic, their guidance and support were instrumental in helping me push through the challenges and ultimately achieve success. I am deeply indebted to them for their mentorship and inspiration. 🙏🏼
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could offer advice to my younger self, it would be to trust in the journey and believe in her own self-worth, understanding that it’s essential to have ambitious dreams, encounter obstacles, and take time to explore her options. Most importantly, I would remind her that she is entirely sufficient as she is, and that every experience she has is instrumental in shaping her into the person she is intended to become. 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

My closest friends know that trust, honesty, and integrity are 💯 the things that matter most to me. I have a personable nature, a helpful demeanor, a caring attitude, and a consistent commitment to being present. 🙏🏼
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. When do you feel most at peace?
I am most at peace when I am by the ocean, listening to the waves, or hiking near my cabin in Idyllwild, immersed in the serene atmosphere created by the songs of bluebirds, the movements of squirrels, and the peaceful presence of deer. Peace always begins with a smile! 😊
