We’re looking forward to introducing you to Nico Snow. Check out our conversation below.
Nico, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
What I’m most proud of is the foundation I’ve built behind the scenes, the discipline, the follow up, and the consistency that allows me to truly take care of my buyers and sellers. It’s not flashy, but it’s what keeps deals together and gives my clients confidence from start to finish.
The part people don’t see is all the hours of calls, texts, and problem solving that go into making sure things run smoothly. That foundation is what makes my business sustainable and what allows me to really serve people at a high level.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name’s Nico Snow, I’m a Realtor with eXp Realty serving all of San Diego County. I work with buyers and sellers, and what really drives me is helping people through one of the biggest decisions of their lives in a way that feels simple and stress free. Growing up here, I’ve always felt connected to the community, and now I get to give back by helping people put down roots of their own.
For me, it’s all about relationships. I treat every client like a long term connection, not just a transaction. I bring energy, communication, and a problem-solving mindset to every deal, because buying or selling a home isn’t just about real estate, it’s about people and their goals. That’s what makes this work meaningful to me.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
When I was a kid, I thought we had all the time in the world. I figured I could always wait until tomorrow to chase what I wanted. Now I know time isn’t promised, and the longer you wait, the more opportunities slip by. That’s why I focus on taking action today and making the most of the time I’ve got.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me discomfort and survival. Success feels good, but it’s comfortable, it doesn’t test you or force you to grow the way struggle does. My greatest failures have actually been my greatest achievements, because they built grit, patience, and perspective. That’s something success never could.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
One of the biggest lies in real estate is that it’s easy money. People see the commission check but not the months of prospecting, the deals that fall apart, or the late nights making sure clients are taken care of. Another lie is that it’s all about the sale. The truth is, if you only focus on sales, you burn out and you burn bridges. This business is built on relationships, service, and trust, and that’s what truly lasts.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What pain do you resist facing directly?
The pain I resist facing is slowing down and admitting when I feel behind. It’s easier to just keep pushing and stay busy, but I’ve learned the real growth comes when I stop, face it head on, and work through it instead of trying to outrun it.
