Slong , we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
Wake up pray to God. Think him for everything. He has done. Get my kids dressed drive them to school. Make breakfast for wife and I. Then I might check my social media. Hit the workout. GO OVER Instrumentals. FIND THAT ZEN ZONE SMOKE THE HERB, then make dat FIRE TRACKS 🔥

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Watane Davis artist name Slong Danglr. I am an artist, wouldn’t say rapper singer because I’m a father first. My sound and type of music is Unorthodox. Versatile, with creating my own sound (R&P) Rhythm and Poetry. Founded in 2010 giving young black males an opportunity to express and speak highly of themselves. Through the experience and trials and tribulations through life with no father,

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
I will say one of the moments that stood out to me the most is when I went to a recovery alcoholic anonymous program and on the leadership of my voice. And the person I am changing lives and motivating. Others to believe Just off attitude respect. Being yourself truly being yourself

When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
When my friend Nick Bates my brother childhood Friends, Lindsey Earl and Uncle Jeff and Dad passing

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Where are smart people getting it totally wrong today?
That even smart people make mistakes and they’re wrong no one’s perfect
