Story & Lesson Highlights with Vyshali Pallapotu of 4s Ranch

Vyshali Pallapotu shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Hi Vyshali , thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: Have you stood up for someone when it cost you something?
There was a time when I was constantly compared — told I was too fat or too thin — and I tried so hard to make others happy. I dressed a certain way just to fit in. But one day I realized something powerful: people’s opinions keep changing, no matter how you look.

So I stopped trying to please everyone and started believing in myself — in the goodness, strength, and light I have to offer the world. 🌸

Now, whenever I see someone being bullied or constantly put down, I try to stand up for them — to remind them of their worth and help them see their own light. It’s easy to judge, but it takes real heart to understand what it’s like to be in their shoes. 💖

Never stay around anyone who keeps putting you down. That’s not love or care — that’s your sign to walk away and rise above.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Vyshali’s Ethnic Collections brings the beauty and tradition of India to you. We carefully source authentic Indian clothing — including sarees, half-sarees, and kurtis — as well as fashion jewelry and accessories from trusted vendors and wholesalers across India.

Each piece is chosen with love and attention to detail, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern style. We also offer customization options, so you can create looks that reflect your personal taste and celebrate your unique style.

Whether you’re shopping for a festive occasion or everyday elegance, Vyshali’s Ethnic Collections helps you express the timeless charm of Indian fashion — wherever you are. 🌸

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
Coming from a very humble background, with both my parents working hard, I never imagined I’d one day be living in the USA or starting my own business. As a child, I often felt I wasn’t good enough. I used to make jokes about myself just to hide the potential I couldn’t see.

It took me years to realize my worth. My patterns — my passions, creativity, and strength — remind me now of the beautiful person I truly am. Starting my business with no prior experience was scary. I kept wondering, “What if I fail?”

But now I know — there’s no harm in trying. Every failure is just a First Attempt In Learning. People often fear failure or others’ opinions, but the real failure is never trying at all. 🌸

Believe in yourself — your journey is worth it.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Covid was not just a global suffering — it was a deeply personal one too. Coupled with the loss of my mom, I’ve experienced periods of intense pain, and even now, some moments are still hard.

But through suffering and failure, I became more spiritual and closer to God. Hitting rock bottom teaches you something success never can: when there’s nothing left to lose, you discover your inner strength and confidence.

Failure can either make you or break you. I chose to let it make me. Every Challenge has shaped my story, Every struggle has molded me into who I am today. Thankful for every setback, and every comeback.
Grateful for the journey and lessons and people who made me stronger.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Where are smart people getting it totally wrong today?
Many smart people today get caught up in ego and lack of faith in something bigger. They overestimate their own abilities and forget that intelligence alone isn’t everything.

Being kind, humble, and contributing positively to society is equally — if not more — important. Imagine if smartness were combined with compassion, empathy, and the desire for peace — the world would be a far better place.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
Good pricing that respects their budget 💰
• High-quality products that last and delight ✨
• Personalized customization to make every piece uniquely theirs 🎨
• My goodwill and commitment to always go beyond my ability to help 💖
