Tiffany Ahuna of Honolulu, HI on Life, Lessons & Legacy

Tiffany Ahuna shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
My first 90 minutes are very intentional because they set the tone for my faith, focus & leadership.

I start with simple routines – brushing my teeth, skincare, making my bed, feeding my dog and putting the dishes away. Those small habits create order and calm. I make my morning green drink, which includes Isagenix XM+, Organic Greens and Ionix Supreme (adaptogens). I make my coffee and then find a cozy place to sit and do GPS: “God’s Power Session”. This is the heart of my morning.

GPS is my version of daily devotion. It’s a 7-step process that keeps me anchored in God. These are the 7-steps:
Listen to a worship song.
Gratitude – write 3-5 things I’m thankful for
Prayer Requests – Read through my prayer journal and reach out to those God tells me to.
Goals – Read my annual and monthly goals
Affirmations – Read my affirmations
Read the Bible – usually a Bible plan on the Bible app, but I use a physical Bible for scripture.
Be still with God – put a timer on for 5 minutes; meditate/visualize while asking God what He wants me to do that day

After that, I get ready, walk my dog for about 20 minutes outdoors and workout. Movement helps clear my mind and strengthen discipline. The first thing I do for my business is review and log activity. This allows my actions to stay aligned with my goals.

My morning routine has definitely evolved over the years. My encouragement is to keep trying different things until you find a routine that you LOVE! Make sure to keep it simple so it can be sustainable long term.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m a local girl born and raised in Hawai‘i, and I’m the founder of SGI Business Solutions, which I started back in 2011. At SGI, we are a Christ-centered, faith-based business dedicated to supporting, empowering, and equipping female entrepreneurs. Our mission is to help women build businesses and lives that thrive personally and professionally, all while staying aligned with God’s purpose and vision for them.

What makes SGI unique is the depth of faith integration in everything we do. We don’t just coach business strategy—we weave God into the process. Our tools are custom-made to help women grow in clarity, focus, and confidence, from daily activity trackers and business foundations to our journals, including the Love & Like Yourself journal and the GPS (God’s Power Session) journal. These tools guide women to find their identity in Christ, heal from past experiences, clarify their spiritual gifts, and build intentional habits that fuel both business success and personal fulfillment.

Beyond the tools, we are passionate about helping women create wealth and design a life they love according to God’s will—without burnout. We provide practical business support, from elevator speeches and strategic planning to brand building, while also helping women dream bigger, feel heard, and feel appreciated.

Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited about launching even more business tools, including a daily planner, and developing an online platform to provide ongoing support for female entrepreneurs. At SGI, our focus is always on empowering women to step into their calling with confidence, faith, and joy.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who taught you the most about work?
I would have to say that my parents taught me the most about work—each in their own way. My dad was a huge influence, especially when it came to leadership and management. Early in my career, I found myself managing people older than me, working long hours, and believing that I needed to always be “needed” to create value. My dad taught me a different approach: empower your employees. He would ask, “Who wants my job?” and then train them to do it. That lesson showed me that when you give people responsibility and invest in their growth, they take initiative and work hard—without fear of losing your own position.

He also taught me the importance of friendship in management. I initially thought you couldn’t be friends with your team, fearing they’d take advantage. But I learned that people work harder, when they know you genuinely care and have their best interest at heart. Implementing these lessons helped me build strong, lifelong relationships with my teams, especially in sales, and allowed me to cultivate high-performing teams.

My mom was equally influential in shaping my work ethic. She is incredibly organized, an excellent problem-solver and always goes above and beyond—whether it was in her career or planning parties for family and friends. I learned from her the value of preparation, attention to detail and doing every task with excellence.

Both of my parents’ strong faith in God directly influenced how they conducted business and treated people—with integrity, respect, and fairness. Together, my parents instilled in me a deep sense of honor, respect, and a commitment to excellence. My dad also reminded me that you only have one opportunity to make a first impression, which has stayed with me throughout my career. I attribute much of my work ethic, leadership style, and dedication to excellence to the lessons I learned from both of them.

What’s something you changed your mind about after failing hard?
I’ve been in business for over 14 years and I’ve had many failures. The biggest lesson came when I realized my mindset and habits weren’t aligned with my ambitious goals. I also recognized that I wasn’t involving God in the details of my steps. I was seeking Him for the goals but then trying to execute my own plan—and it didn’t work. One of the biggest mindset shifts was learning to let God lead, control, and guide every task and step along the way.

What changed everything was intentionally creating habits that supported my goals and fully surrendering my plans to God. I had to stop downplaying my God-given gifts and talents and acknowledge my strengths. I am now focused on being an expert and walking in my calling on a whole new level.

Now, I focus on progress over perfection, making sure my actions, habits and mindset are aligned with the life and business I want to create. By staying intentional and letting God lead, I’m no longer just busy. I’m productive, purposeful, and empowered to achieve my goals.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
The belief I am committed to is unleashing women in business ownership. For me, this means creating, supporting, and empowering “BossBabes4Christ”—women who love and like themselves, find their identity in Christ, and are healed from their past. A BossBabe4Christ is supernaturally confident, knows who she is, and commands attention simply by how she exudes God. She is clear on her calling, walks in emotional and spiritual maturity, and operates with vision aligned with God’s purpose.

A BossBabe4Christ also embraces her personal style, loves her hair and makeup, honors her body through physical fitness and healthy living, and exudes confidence in every aspect of her life. She is a pillar, a mentor, a leader in her business, family, and community. These women are culture shifters, game changers, and positive influences who inspire others to rise and thrive.

I am committed to helping women achieve this through practical tools and support—from personal development with the Love & Like Yourself Journal, to building consistent habits with the GPS Journal, to business tools and accessories that allow women to enjoy working & thrive.

My mission is to make business ownership empowering, purposeful, joyful and FUN! No matter how long it takes, I will never stop working to unleash women in business and cultivate confident, faith-centered BossBabes4Christ.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I want my legacy to consist of two stories. The first is how I exuded God in everything I did—that you could see Him clearly in the way I talked, acted, and treated others. I want people to talk about how my life reflected God through my boldness in taking risks, making moves according to His guidance. I want to be known for my obedience and discipline in following God’s will & way.

The second story I hope people tell is how I gave them hope and positively impacted their lives. I want to be remembered for pushing others toward God, inspiring them to grow spiritually, make Godly decisions, and live fully in alignment with His purpose. Ultimately, I hope the stories shared about me reflect a life that transformed lives and drew people closer to God.
