TIFFANY FARLEY shared her story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Good morning TIFFANY, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
I feel that right now I’m being called to step into a much bigger role as a guide for others, especially around healing generational trauma. For a long time, I was afraid to share my story and my gifts so openly, but the more I work with people, the clearer it becomes that this is my purpose.
Through the modalities I offer as a Medium, Reiki Master, Akashic Records reader, Tarot Intuitive and an advanced ThetaHealing® practitioner, I am able to see how cycles of pain and limitation can be released and transformed. I’ve witnessed clients break through patterns that have been carried in their families for generations. It’s humbling and powerful to hold space for that process.
What once felt scary, being so visible with this work, speaking about trauma and spirituality out loud, has now become the very thing I am most passionate about. I believe sharing my voice and gifts more fully allows me to serve others in finding their own empowerment, clarity, and healing.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Tiffany, and I’m the founder of “a west style story”, a metaphysical brand with products and a healing practice that weaves together spirituality, empowerment, and deep soul healing. My work is rooted in helping people reconnect with their inner wisdom and release the weight of generational and personal trauma so they can live with more clarity, balance, and freedom.
What makes my practice unique is the way I blend multiple healing modalities to meet each person exactly where they are. I offer several different healing modalities weaving them into a hybrid session for each person and their individual needs. I am trained in a variety of healing modalities and my Mediumship opened up very strong in 2011 after the birth of her 2nd child. My connection comes through with my natural ability as a Clairaudient, Clairsentient, Clairvoyant, and is an Empath. I am also an intentional jewelry creator, making intentional crystal jewelry for protection, empowerment, and healing. These tools are incredible tools that my clients can utilize outside of session work. I also offer a variety of healing tools to meet people where they are in their journey.
This work is personal for me. After experiencing my own trauma and using stones like Labradorite and protective spiritual practices to heal and protect myself, I felt called to share these tools and teachings with others. My journey from survival to empowerment deeply shapes how I hold space for my clients.
Many clients have asked for support in their journey, so as of last year, I know offer a training “Intuitive Empowerment Course” I & II. It helps guide one to understand their own intuitive power and the language around their own natural abilities.
Right now, I’m focused on expanding offerings that empower women, especially single mothers and those navigating trauma, to step into their strength and authenticity. “a west style story”, is more than a business, it’s a healing community where spirituality and real-life transformation come together.
I am lucky to work with clients individually throughout the week and 2 days a week, I pop up locally with my metaphysical pop up shop featuring my crystals, jewelry, tarot and oracle decks, along with spiritual books, and hand woven Mexican blankets to be utilized in any way you like, for ceremony, or to create your own sacred space for healing.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child, I always knew there was something different about me than those around me, something I couldn’t quite communicate, and that no one around me had the language to explain. Because of family, friends, and religion, I was taught that these gifts and practices were wrong, when I knew they just did not understand. That kind of suppression, which so many people experience, has caused massive harm in our society, silencing intuition and disconnecting people from their true selves. The massive scale of unintentional mental health issues due to this stigma is massive.
For a long time, I believed I had to fit into the mold, working a traditional 9–5 job, ignoring the inner voice that told me I was here for something more. I was even told I was “too much” for feeling so much, or when I tried to open up, I was completely suppressed, and told I would go to hell. But breaking away from those limitations and people that did not understand nor did they want to, has been the most liberating part of my journey.
Now, I no longer believe I need to hide or minimize who I am. Instead, I feel honored to be of service to others, helping them heal, follow their intuition, and discover their true life’s purpose.
What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
I was just a kid from a really bad neighborhood. I grew up seeing and experiencing trauma beyond a normal level. My mom was a teenage mom and my biological dad was addicted to drugs, my mother remarried to a man dealing with his own trauma, and was/is extremely mentally abusive to all of us. The defining wound of my life was a period of deep trauma I experienced in 2010, having to end my marriage to a man that was a narcissist and extremely mentally abusive and controlling. It left me feeling unsafe in my own body, mind and soul, and unsure how I could ever move forward. In that darkness, I sought out too many healers for support and answers. I knew I had highly intuitive abilities that I didn’t quite understand how to use. I studied many different modalities over the past 15 years and paid for many courses to heal my own trauma, and learn how to transform myself into a healer through that healing. Healing is an ongoing journey for me, and I am in a really incredible place now. I didn’t realize it, but I was building something to reclaim my sense of safety and power. I started making jewelry again, creating beautiful metaphysical pieces. Through all of this creation, “a west style story” was born. Born into something, so much bigger than I could have imagined.
That was the beginning of my healing journey. From there, I leaned into spiritual practices and discovered modalities that became not only tools for myself, but offerings I now share with others: Reiki, Akashic Records, ThetaHealing®, Mediumship, Tarot & Oracle work, and Intuitive Coaching. Through each of these, I released the layers of pain and began to understand that my deep wounds were also my initiation into service.
I have healed by transforming my pain into purpose. Every session I hold, every piece of jewelry I create, every circle I facilitate is infused with that journey, an understanding of trauma, resilience, and the magic of remembering who we truly are. It’s empowering! My work now is about helping others find the safety, clarity, and empowerment that I once thought I would never have again.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
Absolutely-1000% yes. The public version of me is the real me. I tell my clients all the time that even though I may appear very put together and happy, I am not without my own challenges. Nothing in life is perfect. I cry, I break down, and I definitely have bad hair days, especially when I’m working behind the computer, haha. But mostly, I am authentically me and I am happy to be experiencing life on this level.
For me, the beauty lies in embracing the imperfect. That’s where real perfection begins to show up. I believe it’s important to be fully yourself, messy, sad, joyful, and everything in between. At the same time, I try to live by a few simple values: always be kind to your connected family, smile at people often because you never know how much they might need it, treat the earth gently, and show compassion to animals. Every root, stem, leaf, flower, animal, sand, water, bug, human has a divine purpose. We wouldn’t have this beautiful mixed world without the diversity. These things matter deeply to me, and they’re part of who I truly am.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
What I understand deeply is that forgiveness and boundaries can work together. For a long time, I thought it had to be one or the other, you either forgave, or you protected yourself by putting a wall up. But what I’ve learned is that real healing happens when you can hold both. You can forgive those that have harmed you, but you don’t have to break bread with them either. Boundaries are super important!
I understand that many people act out of cruelty or anger because of their own unhealed trauma. They don’t always realize they have the power to choose a different path. At the deepest level, I believe every soul is inherently clean and pure. It’s the human experience, the “driver of the train”, that sometimes gets overwhelmed, influenced, or even pulled off course by what I call the demon on the shoulder. The demon is a mixture of pain, trauma, or influence of others they accept and allow to shape them.
When the human body transitions, the soul itself is freed. It undergoes cleansing and healing, working to repair the mistakes and harms that were created during a lifetime on earth. Holding that understanding allows me to forgive on a soul level, while still creating strong boundaries in the human experience. I can still hold love for a specific soul living on earth, that the human driving their train is malfunctioning and causing disruption. I no longer have to stand on the train tracks to get run over any more by that malfunctioning human. That balance is where I’ve found real peace. Boundaries and love are everything.
