San Diego’s food scene is one of the most vibrant in the nation – but without the city’s prolific foodies, many of us would be in the dark about much of the amazing new food offerings in town. Salt & Straw officially opened yesterday in Little Italy and I waited as long as I could to get there, today. 🤪 I wanted to try some of the Limited Edition Holiday Flavors. I picked Gingerbread Cookie and Peppermint Cocoa. This will be a dangerous habit! I forgot to post this last weekend. But just because December Nights is over, I STILL have to share this with you guys. This is literally the only reason why I want to go to December Nights every year. I always make sure I go to the international cottages. Why? The house of Hungary sells Lángos. Never heard of it? It’s a deep fried dough brushed with garlic butter or garlic water and topped with grated cheese and sour cream. I mean, doesn’t that just sound amazing? If you didn’t get to try it this year, make sure you try to get some next year. If you love garlic and cheese, this is perfect. I’m always craving this but I don’t know where else to get it. I wait for December Nights every year just to eat this 😩
