Community Highlights: Meet Kamisha Greene of FHL Realty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kamisha Greene. Them and their team share their story with us below:

As a believer in God, a wife, and a mother, Kamisha was looking to establish myself in Real Estate as a business owner with ethics and values as the number one priority. The passion at FHL Realty, Inc. is helping families achieve their dreams through dedication to upholding the highest industry standards. While there are many brokerages and real estate firms to work with throughout San Diego County, FHL Realty is concentrating on Julian and surrounding areas where their team has over 20 years of combined experience with off-the-grid living, backcountry living and large land purchases. All of these items require a Brokerage firm that has lived and successfully navigated this type of living and can help others do the same.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
After six years as an agent under a different brokerage, Kamisha felt it was time to establish a business of her own with the primary objective of delivering a professional service with God’s principles as the driving force. As with establishing any business, this came with financial, time management, and personal difficulties. She continues to maintain a “family first” perspective, while serving my clients with the utmost dedication and responsiveness.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
FHL Realty is a local, family-owned and operated real estate brokerage in Julian, California dedicated to upholding the highest industry standards while serving clients with God’s given principles. FHL Realty, Inc. was established in 2018 by Kamisha Greene, wife, mother of five and Real Estate Broker and Investor. Since establishing FHL, Kamisha has been blessed to welcome Brian and Molly Hodo, husband and wife team specializing in off-the-grid properties and backcountry living in Julian plus other areas surrounding our beautiful mountains.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
As a child, my dad was a caretaker for a large property on Palomar Mountain. During weekend camping trips while he worked on this very special property, I established a love for the mountains of San Diego county. With unparalleled bio-diversity, wildlife activity, culture, and pride of community ownership, the San Diego Mountains stole my heart as the prime location in Southern California to raise a family. I wanted to give others the same opportunity to live in the backcountry, while educating and helping them find their own piece of country living.
