San Diego Life Events is an award winning Wedding and Event Coordination company founded by Rachel Weinshanker. Rachel is a San Diego native and an SDSU alum with a passion for planning and executing successful, high-energy parties. Working with this team you will find no shortage of laughs, love, and an overall good time.

Prior to launching San Diego Life Events, officially in 2015, Rachel was a successful management and sales development specialist with experience in many different industries. Her background in leading multi-million dollar teams and developing team members, combined with her passion for special events and contagious enthusiasm, has created the perfect recipe for success. In just a few short years, Rachel and San Diego Life Events have completed nearly 100 events and have earned a reputation for being one of San Diego’s friendliest, most dedicated team of coordination professionals.

Led by Rachel, this team has successfully networked to build strong connections throughout San Diego County and beyond. They have built relationships with the best vendors in the community in order to assure their clients get the most passionate, honest, affordable, reputable services for their event.

The San Diego Life Events Coordinators are Wedding and Event Planning Certified. Rachel challenges herself and her team to regularly continue their education in order to stay current on trends and maintain their position as industry experts.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Keeping a positive mindset and always focusing on the happiness of our clients has really helped keep our road to success a fairly smooth one. I believe that leading by example and having a good attitude really helps in powering through the difficult times. We feel lucky to have some of the best vendors and clients out there!

San Diego Life Events designs produce and coordinate all types of celebrations. Our specialty is weddings, and we are known for pulling off all types of events in even the shortest of deadlines, always with a smile. 🙂

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
One of the proudest moments in my career was the realization that we have been able to run with the big dogs. Having my business be recognized as one of the very best after just 3 short years is just incredible.
