Hi Trent, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I am a San Diego Native and, in some sense, have been in Real Estate my whole life. My father is a local broker in town for 30+ years (Mike Cady), and my mother runs our property management company. I have always had a passion for real estate and went to the University of Colorado, Boulder where I majored in Marketing and Real Estate. After that, I began doing loans for one of the top mortgage brokers in CA, Scott Morse. I worked with him for several years and saw thousands of deals before switching over and teaming up with my dad in residential real estate sales and property management. We work tirelessly day in and day out to provide the highest level of value and service for our clients all over San Diego. There is no deal too big or too small that we don’t have the capability to handle, and our main goal is to help as many families as possible build wealth through real estate in San Diego!!!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been a long road to get to where I am at today, but I wouldn’t change a thing. I think enjoying the journey and always being a student, no matter what stage of the game you are in will serve you well. There have been many challenges from age-related objections to experience, but having now put over 7 years into my craft, I feel beyond confident in my ability to provide true value to any homeowner in San Diego. Being a licensed real estate agent, licensed mortgage broker, and experienced property manager has allowed me to differentiate myself as opposed to all the other agents out there that only sell.

Trent Cady was Born and raised in San Diego! Trent brings his extensive knowledge about his hometown to his wide array of sellers and buyers all over the county. After graduating with a Business Marketing and real estate degree from University of Colorado, Boulder, Trent began his career working with the top mortgage broker in CA, seeing thousands of real estate deals. He still maintains an active mortgage license to provide a unique value add perspective from the financing side. After 3 years of loans, he then transitioned into working for his father’s (Mike Cady) team doing what his true passion was, real estate sales. His relentless work ethic, modern-day marketing skills, and confident demeanor has led him to $50M+ in sales in his 5 years. He facilitates a wide variety of real estate transactions from first-time home buyers to seasoned real estate investor deals and can add true value to buyers and sellers all over San Diego. In addition to being a licensed realtor and mortgage broker he also helps clients with managing and managing their homes. He helps manage over 40 properties in the most sought-after markets in San Diego, including Del Mar, La Jolla, Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach, Carmel Valley, and More!
Aside from real estate, Trent is actively involved in the San Diego community where he and loves to play golf, basketball, wakeboard, snowboard, and more. Motivated by client service, Trent is passionate to help others build wealth through buying and selling real estate in San Diego!
What are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future include building out one of the largest teams in San Diego and providing as much value as possible to as many people as possible in the area. We want to be everyone’s first thought when thinking about real estate in San Diego. I also want to build out our property management more so that we can offer more high-end luxury rentals to people coming to visit San Diego.
