Check Out Juliette Martinez’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Juliette Martinez.

Hi Juliette, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
My dance workshop, Sunday Series, started from a simple idea. I am the President and CEO of Harmony Brand Studios, LLC., and am producing this event via Harmony Brand Studios. San Diego has such a rich and talented community of dancers, and many of the high-level dance opportunities require travel outside of our community when I was growing up here. The goal of Sunday Series is to create an epic intensive that brings renowned choreographers and educators to the heart of San Diego. 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My goal with this intensive is to create an environment where different genres and communities of dance can come together. I have deep ties to communities that practice Contemporary and Classical forms, but also equal ties to the Choreography and Street Dance communities, so I wanted to infuse both into this event.

Sunday Series, Volume One will take place in San Diego, CA, starting every other month in 2024. We are so excited to be bringing high quality education to the incredible dance community of San Diego. The goal of this event is to be accessible to all, so we invite everyone to come join us. Our next event is scheduled for February 11th, 2024.
