Hi Jacqueline, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
From a young age, I have had a passion for hair and beauty. I fell in love with the process of transforming looks for people, helping them express themselves and, most importantly, making my clients feel more confident. With 11 years of experience in the industry, I wouldn’t be here without the help of great mentors , connections ,and the education I received at the Paul Mitchell School in San Diego.
After graduating from cosmetology school in 2014, I moved to Arizona, where I spent seven years perfecting my craft. Recently, I returned back to my home city of San Diego and discovered a new love for bridal styling.
As I continue to grow and evolve as a hairstylist, I remain dedicated to pushing the boundaries of creativity . My work is not merely about styling hair; it’s about crafting experiences that resonate with my clients. Each wedding and special event offers an opportunity to bring dreams to life, and I find immense joy in being a part of these unforgettable moments.
I strive to create a welcoming atmosphere for every client. As I embark on this exciting new chapter in San Diego, I look forward to building a community of empowerment, inspiration, and stunning transformations for years to come.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I manifested my cosmetology journey, I would say it’s been a smooth road thus far. I knew what I wanted and called it into my reality. I’ve learn to take constructive criticism and not to take it anything personally but rather use it as a stepping stone to help me grow in my career. Every experience I’ve had, I see as a learning opportunity to only better myself as an artist.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
What sets me apart in the world of hair is my unwavering belief in its limitless potential. I’ve chosen not to confine myself to one lane but to expand my craft across a wide range of services, embracing versatility as my greatest strength.
On weekends, I offer on-location styling for weddings, special events, and photoshoots working both independently and in collaboration with talented beauty teams. During the week, you’ll find me at Salon Blondies in Ramona, where I care for my regular clients with services that include precision cuts, dimensional color, balayage, highlights, and extensions.
Clients often describe me as detail-oriented, fast, and transformative with a passion for enhancing natural beauty. I take pride in creating a welcoming space where creativity flows freely and authentic connections are formed.
There’s nothing more fulfilling than watching a client light up with confidence after a transformation. For me, hairstyling isn’t just a job it’s an art form, a service, and a source of joy. I’m grateful to do what I love and to make people feel beautiful every step of the way.
