Today we’d like to introduce you to Tricia Fonseca.
Tricia, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I opened my business, Tender Moments Photography, in 2001 after a six-month apprenticeship as a second shooter with an established photographer. I began as a wedding and family photographer but have branched out into other areas such as maternity and newborn photography.
We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
My passion lies in preserving moments of life that would otherwise fade or be forgotten. Life moves at such a quick pace that sometimes we forget to soak in the small but meaningful times. Even when we do happen to live in the moment, memories tend to fade. The most rewarding part of my work is that my clients are able to happily reminisce on their most meaningful moments but also share them with family and friends. I love that I am preserving these memories for future generations to enjoy.
How can artists connect with other artists?
Facebook has local Rising Tide has local city chapters for all types of artists. They hold regular meet and greets and collaborate on projects but also offer different types of support. It’s a great way to connect with and inspire one another!
