Hi Chris, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in both the USA and Brazil, having founded several companies in the sports tech sector. My entrepreneurial journey has always been fueled by a deep passion for sports, technology, and the positive impact they can have on people’s lives. After traveling to San Diego for the first time, I was immediately drawn to the area—its energy, natural beauty, and active lifestyle resonated deeply with me. That connection inspired me to make a major life decision: to move to San Diego and launch 7Sherpas, a sports travel business that brings people together through outdoor adventures and athletic challenges.

At 7Sherpas, we focus on creating unforgettable, transformative experiences for individuals and teams. I believe wholeheartedly in the power of sports as a tool for personal growth, education, and fostering values like discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Through 7Sherpas, my mission is to help people unlock their potential and become the best version of themselves by engaging in physical activities that challenge them both mentally and physically.

Beyond offering unforgettable adventure trips, 7Sherpas is also deeply involved in corporate projects, helping organizations harness the power of sports to improve team dynamics, collaboration, and overall integration. We work closely with companies to design sports-based activities that foster a sense of unity and shared purpose within teams. By encouraging individuals to step out of their comfort zones and rely on one another, we’ve seen firsthand how these experiences can strengthen relationships and boost collective performance.

One of the projects we are particularly proud of is our involvement with the Race Across America (RAAM) bike race. This is one of the most challenging cycling events in the world, with a staggering number of variables to manage—from sleep deprivation and extreme fatigue to intense weather conditions and, most importantly, the unpredictability of human nature. Our job at 7Sherpas is to handle every logistical and psychological aspect of the race, ensuring the entire team can safely cross the country from the west coast to the east. It’s a complex, high-stakes endeavor, but we thrive in these environments, and seeing the team succeed is incredibly rewarding.

Ultimately, my goal with 7Sherpas is to provide transformative experiences—whether it’s through individual adventures or team-based challenges—that not only promote physical wellbeing but also foster a deeper connection to oneself and others. I’m passionate about helping people realize what they’re truly capable of and, in doing so, create stronger, more united teams and communities.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There is no such thing as smooth, specially when you choose to become and entrepreneur. Daily challenges are practically non-stop! There are countless struggles that you need to overcome. Resilience and Determination is a must have skill on this environment.
