Hi Natalie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hi! I’m Natalie Crane, mom of 4 little ones & local to San Diego in Vista! I’m the founder of AllNat, and I’ve always had the driest skin in the world. Seriously — if there were an award for that, I’d win!

For over 30 years, I’ve tried every lotion, cream, and “miracle moisturizer” under the sun, but nothing truly helped my skin stay hydrated and healthy. Because I have to use SO much, I worried about the amount of weird chemicals, fillers, and artificial ingredients I was putting on my body.

So, I decided to create my own natural skincare solution — simple, pure, and made with ingredients I could actually trust. I researched deeply, tested high-quality ingredients, and spent months perfecting the formula until I finally made something that worked.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
What’s a smooth road?? 🤣
Being a mom of 4, a wife, a dental hygienist, and juggling a million things makes it super difficult for me to get much done, but I do my best to tackle my to-do list after my kids go to bed.

I once toured a manufacturing facility up in LA that ships out thousands and thousands of units of tallow to other brands every month. I got so excited seeing the big picture of what this could turn in to, but after realizing that their tallow is deodorized and processed – not my good organic tallow from a farm, I decided to not lower my bar and just keep making it at home. I also tried another manufacturer, and when they sent me a sample of my own formula, it was awful!! So bad. So I’m just making it at home in batches when I can with maybe a few helpers!

We’ve been impressed with AllNat, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I make all natural skin cream made of organic tallow & premium manuka honey. Both are super nutrient dense, full of vitamins, healing properties, anti-aging properties, and don’t clog pores.

What sets me apart: both manufacturers I talked to make some of the biggest brands of tallow selling thousands and thousands of units every month. When I told them how much manuka honey I use in my formula, they were SHOCKED! They told me that every other brand uses 10-40 TIMES less manuka honey than I do, literal drops just to be able to say it’s in there, which I think is crazy. When I formulated it, I wanted to have an amount of manuka honey that is actual therapeutic and helpful for people’s skin, knowing it’s incredible healing and soothing properties! It’s super expensive, but I don’t want to cut corners and mislead my customers, keeping my standards and quality high!

I also use organic tallow straight from a farm in Wisconsin. One manufacturer said they can’t get organic tallow because it’s rare, and way better. So I definitely feel confident saying my tallow cream could be the best on the market! That’s what makes me proud. What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
I think the most important lesson I’ve learned is that I just have to keep going. When I feel like I’ve hit a wall, my husband reminded me that it’s actually just a door, and I just have to open it and walk through. I realize a lot of people haven’t done what I’ve done, and all the successful brands were once where I am, so I just have to keep going!
