Today we’d like to introduce you to Tammy Dean.
Hi Tammy, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Being raised in a military family, I grew up all over the world and moved to San Diego over 25 years ago. Although my previous career as a Talent Manager was exciting, I have always had an affinity for Real Estate and helping others. Over five years ago, I retired from the entertainment industry to pursue Real Estate as a full-time profession.
Through real estate, my innate love and desire to help others became even more transparent, and it continues to grow with each and every client I have the pleasure of working with. Having experienced two divorces and countless other trials, I found my passion of wanting to help others who might be going through or having gone through a divorce, domestic partnership separation, or major life displacement to the best of my ability and to fight for them during an emotionally challenging and uncertain time of their lives while going through the home-buying or home-selling process. I have experienced the highs and lows that come with divorce, separation, and life’s displacement and I want those that I work with to know that they can achieve homeownership and that they will prevail.
I pride myself on making sure the client is educated and offer my support relentlessly. It was and is my mission to assist in the preservation of a client’s credit score, homeowner eligibility, and stability within the family unit while enduring one of life’s greatest challenges during their transition. My hope and prayer for those that I work with are that through all of the challenges, they will see the beauty in their ashes and know that on the other side of “Moving On” is a new life with new opportunities for them! Out of my life experiences with divorce, I wanted to help others who are going through a life change and the uncertainties of homeownership “Move On” to the next chapter of their lives!
My YouTube series “Moving On” was born, and my role is to act as an advocate for my clients and help instill hope for their future while preserving their homeowner eligibility and achieve HOMEOWNERSHIP goals! To take the uncertainty I once faced out of their real estate experience and help guide them into the REVIVAL of their lives!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
NO! A lot of blood, sweat and tears along the way… struggles encountered… I can’t work with everyone, and not everyone is ready! It is about showing up where your clients are and meeting them there… help them through the process and as a result, they either sell their home and move on to the next chapter of their lives, or they become first-time homeowners! WIN-WIN!
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am an advocate, then a Real Estate agent. My goal is to help those who are going through a life change divorce, retiring from the military, downsizing (empty nesters), going from renting to owning, etc. through the real estate process and documenting their journey along the way. Oftentimes, we will choose a compelling story and feature their journey on an episode on “Moving On,” which is an original series featured on my YouTube channel.
I am most proud of how much I help those who really need it… what sets me apart from others? I am an advocate, fight for my clients and will always have my clients best interest at heart 10000% of the time.
What are your plans for the future?
To continue to help those as much as I can, develop long-lasting friendships along the way, continue to grow/improve and if the stars align, have my series get picked up by an original streaming network (not that important… more important to help).
