Today we’d like to introduce you to Amoreena Berg.
Hi Amoreena, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I moved from San Francisco area to North County San Diego eight years ago, where I worked in photography and in the psychology field. I have a master’s in Psychology and I love working with people, whether that be helping them through hard transitions in their life or helping them buy their dream home. I wanted to combine the creative part of myself while still being able to work with people and found that real estate would be a great combination! I have decided to join a strong team that also offers a staging component with an interior decorator.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The biggest struggle with making this transition was when I decided to make that leap in January 2020. The world came to a halt shortly after and studying for an exam with kids homeschooled full time was a bit of a challenge. My plan was a slightly derailed but I have begun the transition. Like starting any business, which I have done before, I expect there to be obstacles. I have chosen to hang my license with Pacific Sotheby’s in Rancho Santa Fe and I feel very supported by this branch as well as the team I am a part of.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
What sets me apart from others is I have years of experience working with people in a variety of settings. Whether that be helping them through challenging emotional times or photographing their wedding, I tend to know what people need. I view selling homes in a similar light, it can be an emotionally charged experience and you want an agent you can trust.
I am looking to build this business and add value to people’s lives in their journey to selling or buying a home.
