Meet Krissy Greenhouse and Melanie Ham of Results Personal Training Studio in Solana Beach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Krissy Greenhouse, Melanie Ham.

Krissy, Melanie, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Melanie and I met while working at Del Mar Workout. She’s been in the Fitness Industry for many years, teaching aerobic and body conditioning classes as well as personal training. I began my personal training career in 2005. I taught Silver Sneakers and Gravity classes at DMW, but my main focus was on personal training.

Ten years ago, Melanie was given an amazing opportunity to purchase an appointment-only boutique workout studio aptly called Results Personal Training Studio. Results’ owner was moving out of state, having successfully run this business solo for 13 years. Although it’s a mere 1200 square feet, it is filled with exercise and cardio machines, dumbbells, fitness balls and a plethora of other specialty exercise tools.

Melanie invited me to see this little gem, and there was no hesitation! I loved it and was so honored Melanie asked me to join her in this venture.

Our purchase came with many dedicated clients of different ages who we grew to love and continue to guide on their healthy journey.

We feel so blessed owning Results and we welcome those who have struggled with the path of a healthy lifestyle to those who have been active for many years and want to continue that journey as long as possible.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Not always a smooth road as economics can play a big roll and so we did lose a few clients. Some were able to come back and those who just could no longer manage the cost, we did keep in touch to see how they were doing in their lives and health journey. Just because they weren’t coming to Results any longer didn’t stop us from caring.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Results Personal Training Studio – what should we know?
What makes us unique from other gyms is our “by appointment only,” intimate facility.

We provide training in a private setting so our clients can focus completely and comfortably on their workout while avoiding unwanted gym noise, interruptions or waiting on equipment!

We do not charge Membership Fees and we offer Discounts on services paid in advance.

We take the time and listen to our clients to properly design rewarding workout programs to fit their needs, their time constraints and goals. We offer Private, Semi Private and Small Group Training focusing on core, endurance and strength fitness, balance and musculoskeletal health to keep you doing the extra-curricular and daily activities as you age.

Melanie and I are Certified Personal Trainers and we strive to keep up with relative and changing exercise techniques, post rehab and nutrition information so that we bring the very best to our clients.

We are focused on helping men and women on their paths to a healthier, longer life.
