Meet Lauren Pires of VVIP International in National Footprint with Partnership in California

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Pires.

Lauren, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Although I earned my Masters Degree and initially started my career in education, there was always a strong pull and fascination guiding me towards the world of aviation. Part of that was probably my love of travel and adventure, but as a single mother, the only way I could justify pursuing this path as if I took ownership of it and turned my passion into a career.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Of course, I would love to tell everyone how easy it was, but the reality is that any endeavor worth pursuing takes dedication, discipline, and a tremendous amount of focus. The private aviation industry is a serious business. Consumers pay top dollar for a level of service not readily available to most, their expectations are in concert with the price tag. I worked my way up. I listened and learned from those that came before me. Sometimes you need to move beyond your own opinion, or even your emotions just to get the job done and to deliver excellence, those are difficult emotions to contain.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with VVIP International – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
VVIP International offers highly specialized training for private aviation flight attendants. I’ve taken my decade of experience, training, and customer interface, and curated a training program that targets the most granular aspects of what is truly required to deliver excellent safety and service to our clients. We don’t utilize any virtual or simulated learning during our program. Students receive in person, on-jet training by veteran lead flight attendants, all with years of service on major private and commercial fleets. We provide a cultural immersion session, actual water and CPR emergency training, and a complete safety and service portion designed to offer students a real-time, real-life, experience of what they can anticipate. We go over every detail of food and beverage protocols on-site at catering facilities we partner with, including fine dining and wine pairings. My goal is to ensure each student knows what I know after they participate in our program. The training is comprehensive, intense, and set at a high standard, but that’s why VVIP International flight attendants are in demand.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
As a woman entrepreneur, I’m always looking to move the needle and evolve. We most recently launched VVIP Agency Services, which allows for a structured transition from student to corporate flight attendant once you have received our certification. I was getting so many calls daily from operators and owners looking to bring on VVIP International flight attendants, it was a natural progression for me to move into this next phase of the brand. VVIP Agency Services provides immediate placement opportunities for graduates within our network of partners. These partnerships have proven quite successful for our graduates. We have many flight attendants flying within weeks of receiving their VVIP International Certification. The agency side of the business is expanding daily, I’m very hands-on during this process because I value each students commitment to training with us and getting our graduates flying is a priority for me.
