Today we’d like to introduce you to Masha Tal.
Masha, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Hi there, I run the FitLifeMama.com website.
I was born in Ukraine & immigrated to the States when I was ten years old. I met my hubby in junior high when we were both in 7th grade. I am a mama to two littles, a boy & a girl. A wife. A Fitness & Nutrition Addict. Lover of Chardonnay. A Household Domestic Goddess. An eBay Store Owner. Just a regular girl.
I grew up in San Diego & have always been into fitness and nutrition. I am passionate about creating a healthy & fun environment for myself & my family. I love to stay active & am always looking for fun things to do around San Diego & other areas as well.
I started this blog as a way to share all the things that I was finding & loving. From fashion inspiration to fitness tips & destination reviews, this blog is meant to be a source of inspiration to my readers.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting a blog has been really fun & exciting for me but yes, of course, there are always challenges. When you start your own project & it’s only you on the team, you have to be good at everything. So, figuring out how to create a website, to being an amazing photographer & being able to be an inspirational writer….all those things take time & dedication.
To anyone starting out, I just recommend that you take baby steps & don’t compare yourself to other bloggers that are bigger than you. It’s easy to fall into the game of comparison & you can quickly get discouraged. I believe that everyone has a special story & a special message to share with the world. So, I encourage everyone starting out to just take the first step, put out great content, be consistent & just go with the flow.
What should we know about FitLifeMama? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am a fashion, fitness & lifestyle blogger. My posts range from outfit inspiration, to weekend activities with the kids, to reviews of the parties that I recently had. What sets me apart for others is that I have my own unique point of view & voice. I truly believe that our health is the most important thing & a lot of mamas tend to leave that behind because they are so busy taking care of everyone else in the family. I want to spread the message that you can be an amazing mother & wife & still be able to take care of yourself. Looking stylish, young, fit & sexy isn’t just for the 20 year old girls anymore.
My family lives in Downtown San Diego & we are always checking out all the fun things going on around our city, I love going to new events, new parks, new venues, new restaurants & reporting back to my readers. So follow me for inspiration on how to elevate your life.
