Today we’d like to introduce you to Harry Preston

Hi Harry, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We began our journey with my oldest daughter. She loved drinking ginger beer. We made ginger beer in the house growing up in South Africa. Through a few batches brewed using our family recipe, we finally got a great tasting beverage started. We use fresh organic ginger root for every batch brewed and to achieve a flavor line up we use fresh fruit, teas, and spices. We are thrilled to be using high quality ingredients, and the results have been so rewarding, especially when we have new customers. You can notice the excitement in their eyes when they go through a flight of seasonal flavors.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It’s not an easy process to start any food and beverage venture. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it. There are a lot of hurdles we’ve encountered, So many different personalities throughout our growth and build-out of our brewery: happiness, rejection, and the cost of doing business. I always try to stay motivated and always use bad energy and try to turn it into something positive.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
I always do my best to stay positive. You only live once, and time being down and negative on yourself is wasted. I enjoy the creative side of things. That is just who I am. When I comes down to business, my attitude is sometimes not the best. You have to firm when you want to run a business I have a very carefree spirit and would like things to flow better. Might help take the edge off or it might not and irritate the situation. I do what I can to help everyone that I cross paths with. When you have a product with your name on it, I do everything in my power to make sure that the best product made reaches my customers and they will enjoy and experience what I made.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I enjoyed playing outdoors, and I have a weak spot for animals and nature. Always gravitate towards that to this day.
