Meet Modaser Nazir and David Blake of Stay Classy Transportation

Today we’d like to introduce you to Modaser Nazir and David Blake.

Established in 2011, Stay Classy Transportation is the result of Nazir’s desire to build a company with his father, a 20-year veteran of the transportation business. “My father has given up a lot for me to be able to go college and now it’s my turn to give back to him and let him taste the American dream,” related Nazir, who recently graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

SCT began as a small, family-run business, where staff and customer loyalty is highly valued. With its first class service and luxury line of hybrid vehicles, Stay Classy is now a Premier company in San Diego.

Nazir is quick to point out that employees and customers alike are treated as family. “We take care of our drivers, and in turn, our customers consistently have the same driver and personable service. We also have the ‘Lucky Number 7’ loyalty program for our customers. Travel with us six times within the year and the seventh trip is free.”

Has it been a smooth road?
We definitely had some growing pains. My own father quit on me 1 year into the company and started working for a competitor because we just were not making enough money. I was hurt, but I love my father, and instead of being offended, took the challenge of working harder and earning my father back. After all, I did start the company for him.

Fast forward 5 years, my father picks his own schedule, walks around every day looking polished in a suit and tie, and always driving the latest livery vehicle.

It feels great to be able to give back to him after he raised me with such love and sacrifice.
