Originally from Dhaka, Bangladesh, I relocated to the USA with my family during my 10th grade.
Graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering marked the beginning of my professional career, spanned nine years in engineering. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in engineering and architecture, I naturally developed a passion for problem-solving and artistic strives. Art, craft, and design captivated me from a young age, nurturing my creative ambitions.
My deep connection to the world of creativity became apparent at a young age as I delved into art and craft from childhood. Recognition for my abstract watercolor and acrylic paintings during my school and university days encouraged me further. Additionally, I found joy in organizing family and friend gatherings, infusing them with my distinctive décor and arrangements. Over time, my peers sought my advice on design, décor, and renovation matters, acknowledging my knack for aesthetics.
Driven to explore my creative potential, I embarked on a fresh endeavor as an event planner. Thus, Jenyn Concept Event Planning Service was born in San Diego in 2014. My mission was clear: to craft memorable events tailored to my client’s preferences, infused with my unique designs. Each event, I believed, should be a one-of-a-kind experience.
Collaboration with my clients became the cornerstone of my approach, ensuring they played an active role in the planning process. I assured them that from inception to execution, their events would be a resounding success. Our ethos revolved around delivering seamless experiences that were not only exceptional but also affordable, aligning with our clients’ budgets.

Launching a new business is rarely a smooth journey. One of the initial challenges many businesses encounter is securing financing and generating awareness. For “Jenyn Concept,” our beginnings were humble, relying on word-of-mouth referrals from clients, friends, and family. Naturally, clients expect to see a portfolio of past work, but we lacked such evidence at the outset.
Thus, clients had to blindly place their trust in us without a portfolio to guide their decisions. Acquiring clients proved challenging initially. Gradually, my team and I began to secure projects and build trust among clients. Delighted with our designs and décor, clients started leaving positive reviews on platforms like Yelp. This increased visibility led to a broader range of events, signaling a positive turn of events.
