Conversations with the Inspiring Elena Creazzo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elena Creazzo.

Elena, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have been an Esthetician since 2005. I was always the friend in school who did everyone’s makeup for school dances. My parents insisted I had some kind of formal training, so I went to beauty school shortly after graduating high school. I fell in love with esthetics. It was very clear that waxing, facials, and makeup were my true passion.

I worked for various high-end spas in San Diego and Las Vegas, I also worked for waxing salons and did freelance makeup for weddings and editorial. I ventured out on my own in 2013 and have never been happier.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Luckily for me, the road has mostly been smooth. With a couple unexpected bumps along the way.

Venturing out on your own is always scary and never easy. I have always known that there is no reward without some risk. As scary and nerve wrecking some things may be or seem, it’s always a good idea to at least try. If you shoot for the stars and miss, at least, you’ll land amongst the clouds. My favorite saying to live by.

What should we know about Elena T Beauty? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I specialize in facials, chemical peels, waxing and makeup artistry.

My clients enjoy coming to me for my “relaxing waxing” and my “take me away facials” I can do a full Brazilian wax in under 10-15 mins. I like to give my clients the best results with as little pain or discomfort as possible. I like to turn what might be a not so fun service into something they actually don’t mind.

I also really take my facials to the next level by not only educating my clients and taking the time to talk and consult with them but to add so much relaxation and massage into what I do.

I enjoy making people feel good in their skin and really be able to relax and check out if even for an hour.

Bridal makeup is something I truly enjoy. I love working with brides and being able to provide a natural, fun, and flirty look for their most special day. I truly enjoy what I do and feel so lucky to have such amazing clients!

What do you feel are the biggest barriers today to female leadership, in your industry or generally?
I will say that being in the beauty industry has really allowed me to see such strong women and such great examples of female entrepreneurs.

I feel so fortunate to see and experience women in leading roles and really taking life by the horns and getting after it.
