Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Fashion Mixtape is a fashion brand founded in 2018, emerging from over a decade of blogging about new designers, sustainable fashion, and socially responsible consumerism.
Leveraging her background in retail marketing and assistant buying, I created Fashion Mixtape as a response to the lack of transparency and ethical practices in the fashion industry,
The company began as a content platform and evolved into a hybrid e-commerce and editorial brand centered on curated, ethically-sourced contemporary fashion and accessories.
The core ethos of Fashion Mixtape is to be a transparent, globally-conscious fashion voice that blends storytelling with sales.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who taught you the most about work?
My parents taught me the most about work, mainly through their example. From preparing work attire to planning meals for the week, they showed me the importance of starting the day organized rather than rushed. This mindful approach to time management not only helps ease the work commute but also reinforces reliability by arriving on time. Being punctual presents you as a dependable employee.
They also emphasized the value of setting daily and weekly commitments to maintain structure while staying flexible when unexpected challenges arise. By preparing for curveballs and focusing on efficiency, you can sustain strong work performance and build consistency in your career.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self, don’t let your environment define your limits. Step boldly into the world, you’ll meet people from all walks of life, and each experience will help you grow.

Truths that are foundational in my life is definitely consistency. Consistency will help you reach your goals. Continuous achievements whether small or large, will move you closer to your goals.

If you remain complacent and avoid taking action, you’ll never reach the place you dream of being. Growth requires action and the willingness to make short-term sacrifices in order to achieve long-term success. Without that effort, you’ll remain stuck in the same place.
