Community Highlights: Meet Samantha Rice of Baby’s Burgers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Rice. 

Hi Samantha, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I moved to Los Angeles in 2010 where I started working with the food truck company Baby’s Badass Burgers. After growing with the business for 5 years, I decided to make my way down to San Diego to open up my very own Franchise. After an incredible 6 years so far owning Baby’s Burgers Food Truck in San Diego, we have now opened a brick-and-mortar in Vista. 

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Opening a business at 24 years old was something I had never imagined I would have done but has been such a great growing experience for me. Of course, we hit some struggles 2020-2022 with not being able to operate the truck, but we survived and will only grow from this! 

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Baby’s Burgers is a hot pink food truck you might see rollin’ down the freeway any day of the week. We specialize in 1/2 lb. gourmet juicy burgers served by fun friendly women. We take pride in Baby’s being a Woman owned business. We cover a wide variety of events from baby showers, birthday parties, beer/music festivals to weddings, etc. There isn’t any event that Baby’s isn’t a good fit for!
