Today we’d like to introduce you to Edward Juarez.
Hi Edward, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am a self-taught plein air artist, painting since the age of 8 or 9. My parents always encourage me to try my best in everything I did, and their support fueled my determination to grow as an artist.
While I was not a strong academic student, I excelled in art, finding confidence and purpose in my creativity.
I don’t claim to have mastered my craft, each piece is simply another step in my journey of growth. I’m deeply thankful for God’s grace, the source of the gift He’s given me. To capture a rare glimpses of the beauty He reveals. My inspiration comes from above, and I give Him all the glory.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My theory, Is the chase is better then the catch.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My passion is creating something that would capture a moment that would bring joy into anyone’s life. I’m 84 years old and very thankful for being able to do something I enjoy this bring me happiness and thankfulness into my life.
I’ve been creating art from a young age whether it’s painting, working with clay, or simply sketching. My inspiration comes from bringing together the elements in a way no one has ever seen before. I work with a limited palette, one that isn’t found in a paint box, but in the heart of Love, Respect, and Gratitude.
Every stroke, every form, and every vision is an expression of this palette, reflection both my faith and the beauty I see in the world around me.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
In my studio, my door is always open to anyone. I enjoy talking to people, it’s about the personal connections.
