Exploring Life & Business with Jacqueline Solomon of All That Glitters Gems: Crafted for Confidence, Designed to Shine

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacqueline Solomon

Hi Jacqueline, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit—from a young age, my younger sister and I would sell old books, mail order jewelry, anything that could to turn a profit. My drive comes from my late mother, who, despite being handicapped, raised five children and never let her disability define her. In her short time on earth, she taught me that adversity is never an excuse—it’s fuel to push forward.

As an NPC bikini competitor, I struggled to find statement jewelry that truly shined on stage. When my teammates started asking me to source pieces for them, I saw a gap in the market—and I turned it into an opportunity. What began as a side hustle quickly became All That Glitters GEMS, a brand that has been a staple in the IFBB & NPC world since 2014 and is still going strong.

As a single mom raising a child with special needs, I needed flexibility, but I also wanted purpose. I built this business from the ground up—handling inventory, invoicing, and hand-delivering orders—until ATGG became a global brand, shipping worldwide.

Today, ATGG isn’t just about jewelry—it’s about empowering people to shine, no matter the stage they’re on.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not! Entrepreneurship is a journey of passion, but also persistence. There were moments when I questioned if it would be easier to just work for someone else—especially when the work felt repetitive or overwhelming. Running a business is hard, and no one really prepares you for that.

Being diagnosed with ADHD later in life helped me understand many of the challenges I faced—staying organized, managing tasks, and avoiding burnout. But instead of letting it hold me back, I focused on implementing systems that allowed me to work smarter, not harder. Now, I’m in a place where I feel aligned, focused, and more in love with my business than ever.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
At All That Glitters GEMS, we don’t just sell jewelry—we create bold, unforgettable moments. Since 2014, we’ve been a powerhouse in the IFBB & NPC bodybuilding world, providing statement rhinestone jewelry that turns heads and commands attention. But our sparkle extends beyond the stage—our pieces are worn by beauty queens, drag performers, brides, and anyone who refuses to blend in.

What sets ATGG apart? We don’t just buy from wholesalers—we produce a large portion of our collection to meet the unique needs of our customers. We offer one-on-one virtual consultations, ensuring each client finds their perfect match, and through our sister brand, Kaleidoscope Kollection, we create custom color jewelry for those who want something truly one-of-a-kind.

What I’m most proud of? ATGG isn’t just about jewelry—it’s about confidence, individuality, and empowerment. Whether you’re stepping on stage, walking down the aisle, or making a statement in your everyday life, we’re here to make sure you do it with brilliance, authenticity, and a whole lot of sparkle.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
Success is never a solo journey, and I’m beyond grateful for the people who have lifted me up along the way. My son has been one of my biggest inspirations and supporters—he’s the reason I push forward every single day. My father, he always had my back regardless of whatever I was going through, he always gave me a shoulder to cry on. He was my safe place, my rock, the one person who never judged me but always guided me. No matter how tough life got, I knew I could turn to him, and he’d remind me of my strength even when I couldn’t see it myself. His love was unwavering, his support endless, and his wisdom is something I carry with me every single day. He didn’t just teach me how to stand tall—he made sure I never had to stand alone.

It always helps to have a supportive family, friends, and a partner (smile) who truly understands and uplifts you. The right people make all the difference, reminding you that you’re never alone on this journey, no matter how tough it gets.

And to my incredible clients—my Glitter Goddesses—you inspire me every single day. Though I’m no longer on the stage, I live through each of you, watching you shine, push boundaries, and own your power. Seeing your confidence, resilience, and dedication fuels my passion and reminds me why I do what I do. You are living proof that strength and sparkle go hand in hand, and I’m honored to be part of your journey.

Growing up, I had a hard time asking for help. Watching my mother navigate life with a disability, I saw firsthand saw how strong she was and how she felt she had to prove herself. That shaped me, but it also taught me a powerful lesson—you don’t have to do it all alone. Building a brand requires a support system, people who uplift you, challenge you, and remind you why you started.

Whether it’s my loved ones, my incredible clients, or the community that has embraced All That Glitters GEMS, I know this business wouldn’t be what it is today without them. Their belief in me fuels my passion, and for that, I’m forever grateful.
