Hidden Gems: Meet Rosa Sanchez of RMS Notary and Loan Signing/Rose Ceremonies

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rosa Sanchez.

Hi Rosa, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It all started when my nephew was talking about possible marriage with his high school sweetheart sometime down the line once he was more settled(he is in the Marines). I suffer from insomnia from time to time and one night it hit me pretty bad. So at 3am I was browsing the internet and I remembered what he had said. I started looking up what do I need to be able to marry people and how to marry them. Came across AMM( American Marriage Ministries) and ULC( The Universal Life Church) and became ordained on line on August 10,2022.
I posted it on my IG and mentioned to my comadre(friend). Months later, my comadres brother calls me and asked if I can marry him and his girlfriend that same week as he was getting deployed. Officiated my FIRST wedding June 3, 2023. From there I advertised on my Notary Public business I was an ordained Wedding Officiant, and got my first paid wedding that November. I continued to advertise and slowly started getting more weddings.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road. There were few struggles along the way and some that continue to be a struggle. Had to figure out and learn exactly how to officiate weddings, how all the paperwork is done correctly, where to turn it, and how to stay compliant. Having the ceremony script in from of you is easy, delivering the ceremony is the tough part. Keeping the same voice projection and consistent so that you could be heard by all the guests. There’s more to it than what people make out to be.
Marketing is a tough one, still continues to be a struggle. Staying competitive and showing the potential clients your worth, is not easy.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about RMS Notary and Loan Signing/Rose Ceremonies?
I have two businesses that need one another to be able to provide some of my specialties. I am a mobile Notary Public and a Wedding Officiant. I am an Authorized Notary Public with the San Diego County to issue confidential marriage licenses. This is one of my specialties. I need to be a commissioned Notary Public to be in this specific program as well as an ordained minister. I was one of the Notary’s to get on this list/program when it first re-opened after being closed for years. I just came up on my 1yr anniversary being on this list. Being on this list has made my businesses grow significantly.
I officiant weddings in not so common places like hospitals, care facilities and jails/prisons.
What sets me apart from others is that no matter where or how big their wedding is, I treat all clients with compassion and caring. I go above and beyond for my clients, whether they are paying full price or I have offered a discount given their situation. I run my businesses with my heart, I don’t just see my clients as dollar signs as other officiants/notaries might.
I’m most proud brand wise is that I am constantly looking for ways to make my services more efficient, streamline and a one stop shop. My brand is me; compassionate, friendly, efficiency and helpful.
My brand is who I am as a person, I like to help everyone who needs it. I offer bilingual mobile notary public services, apostille facilitator, ink finger printing, bilingual wedding officiating and I am LGBTQ+ friendly. All these services are available in the non-common places as well(hospitals, care facilities and jails/prisons).

What makes you happy?
What makes me happy is living a simple life with my family and having the ability to help others when they need it.
Simple life with my family because I’ve been a stay at home mom for 13yrs and I can be present 24/7 in my kids lives .
The ability to help others because I feel that at some point we all need that helping hand or compassion.
