Hi Roxanne, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Roxanne Govari is the owner and team leader in charge of Pemberley Realty. Pemberley is a boutique team that does big things. Roxanne became a Realtor in 2000 and for the next 7 years worked for a different real estate company. So in 2007, she started Pemberley Realty with one goal “to take all the things that work for the client’s best interest and do them better than anyone else”.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
COVID-19 was a major challenge as a broker and realtor in the real estate business. The uncertainty, lockdowns, and shifting market conditions made it difficult to conduct in-person showings, meet clients, and navigate transactions. Buyers and sellers were hesitant, lending requirements tightened, and adapting to virtual tours and remote closings became essential. However, these challenges also pushed for innovation—leveraging digital marketing, virtual consultations, and online networking became key strategies to keep the business moving forward. The resilience and ability to pivot during that time reinforced the importance of adaptability in real estate.
