Today we’d like to introduce you to Stuart and Jared Weintraub. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Waves of Love International was born during the early days of the COVID 19 pandemic, but the inspiration for them started years earlier. It’s a story that was born out of the love between a father and his son after divorce.
At age 16, Jared Weintraub captured an image he calls “Half Heart” at the world-famous “Wedge” in Newport Beach, CA. After editing, he created the “Waves of Love” image with two waves forming a perfect heart and gifted it to his dad for Father’s Day.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jared and his father, Stuart, were watching the news and decided to start Waves of Love international, using this image. This initiative has evolved into a movement, inspiring people to become ambassadors of love and experience more love in their lives through “heart-centered art.”
Waves of Love International is positioned to become a powerful force for promoting love and unity worldwide. WOLI is spreading love by attracting individual, corporate, and philanthropic underwriting to “send out waves of love” postcards.
Stu, who is already a TEDx speaker, is working on his second talk which is called “Waves of Love,” as well as a podcast of the same name and a children’s book. His passion is to share the message that “what the world needs now is love.”
As an energy healer, he doesn’t define love by the traditional “five love languages” book that he knows and appreciates so well. He says that love is a verb. It is about action. But it is also a vibrational energy that is able to be experienced, felt and shared. This is “agape love”. This is spiritual love. This is self-love. This is prayerful and intentional love. This is what he offers in his private energy healing practice and in workshops and retreats. He teaches everyone that “every day is valentine’s Day”. We don’t have to wait for someone’s birthday to show them love. We are conditioned by media and marketers, but love is so much more. So much more that Stu is already planning and organizing a large-scale “Festival of Love” music and art experience that will feature musicians, artists, yoga, breath work, energy healers, spiritual teachers, and indigenous elders.
Our vision is to have the “Waves of Love” image shared Millions of times around the globe on Instagram and Facebook social media communities. To support the movement further, we envision millions of postcards that will be mailed out by school children and corporate and philanthropic under-writers. We envision “Waves of Love” fine art prints hanging worldwide in homes, hotels, healthcare buildings, retail stores, and businesses.
Stu is expanding the scope of his existing non-profit organization and is launching The Waves of Love Foundation in 2024 whose mission is to help people experience and share more love in their families, communities, companies, and countries.
VIP Waves of Love Healing sessions are available one on one in La Costa, CA, and starting in 2024, in group workshops on Zoom and in-person retreats at various destinations worldwide.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Waves of Love is positioned to make a huge impact in the world. It has been an incredible learning experience to manage all of the details of producing art, creating supporting the collateral, attending art showings, and sharing on social media. The sheer amount of details that go into offering artwork in various sizes and on different media and taking orders to make sure they are accurate is painstaking and takes a lot of time, focus and energy. We have had to source the right printers, design and produce the right collateral and that was a series of many tasks and many hours to finally get it right. Also, in order to sell artwork, we needed to produce various pieces and go show them at farmers’ markets, community art walks, and high-end galleries alike. Each one of these shows involves fees, insurance, delivery, installation of art, and supporting materials that takes a lot of logistical time and resources. Navigating all of this has not been easy.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Stu Weintraub Consulting www.StuartWeintraub.com?
Stuart Weintraub is a visionary, social impact entrepreneur, and a gifted Shamanic and Reiki Master energy healer in private practice in La Costa, CA. He is also the Founder of “The Center for Child-Safe Divorce,” which is the home of the “Love Before Law” movement. Stu recently delivered a TEDx talk at TEDx San Diego entitled “The True Costs of Divorce,” and his upcoming book is due in early 2024 called “The Heart of Divorce.” He is committed to helping parents minimize the chaos of divorce-related conflict for their children. His energy healing practice helps people from all walks of life get relief from a variety of physical, emotional, and psychological issues and ailments that he says comes from simply being “blocked off from” the life force energy that runs through and around us all… That energy is LOVE, and so he has named the process accordingly as the “Waves of Love Healing Method ™ His work as a social impact entrepreneur, author, speaker, and healer are all aligned and complement Waves of Love. His mission is to inspire minds, heal hearts, and awaken souls.
Jared starting taking pictures when he was a young boy. His father struggled financially after divorce, and their weekend time together would often be “train-rides to nowhere” where they would set out on the Coaster or Metrolink with two disposable cameras, a couple of PB&J sandwiches, and juiceboxes, and an open heart for a day of adventure. This was the start of Jared’s love and passion for photography. He developed his skills by borrowing his Stepfather’s Canon DSLR camera and for his middle school graduation, received a pre-owned NIKON from his dad as a gift. It wasn’t long before he had saved his allowance and birthday money and purchased a pre-owned professional-grade water housing for his stepdad’s Canon. And with that, his career as a nature photographer was born. Jared took every possible photography class in High School and using social media, developed a powerful network of mentors over the years, but his talent was always within, and his education was self-taught using YouTube. Now a senior at CalPoly San Luis Obispo, Jared is studying business and manages his online gallery remotely. His work has been featured in prominent showings, including Porsche San Diego, Laguna Art A-Fair, restaurants, churches, and many private homes nationwide. He even has collectors overseas.
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you, and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
I see COVID-19 as a spiritual “plague” of sorts. It is something that came to impact the entire human population and test us to see how we can work together and have patience, tolerance, and love for one another. While it caused much pain and suffering, it also opened up a lot of new gifts… As a result, we are now all connected using video connectivity such as Zoom, which has become an everyday household word. By being forced to literally think about our own welfare, we also were given the chance to be concerned about our families, friends, neighbors, and collegues. Did we just worry about our own toilet paper supply? Or did we think about who may need some? Did we make decisions that were self-preservation, or did we consider the welfare of others such as the elders in our community who were more fragile and potentially impacted by COVID. In short, we were given many opportunities to learn lessons about LOVE…
