Today we’d like to introduce you to Vincenzo Ratkevich.
Hi Vincenzo, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My family is from Big Island, Hawaii, but I was raised in San Diego, California. I grew up with my mother and grandmother, whom I affectionately refer to as my queens. Regrettably, my mother succumbed to lung cancer during my eighth grade year, passing away shortly before my graduation from the firefighting academy. My aspiration was to combat cancer through my role as a first responder.
While pursuing a degree in fire science and business administration, I also served as a head trainer or coach at Undisputed Training Center. This facility offered comprehensive training in boxing, kickboxing, strength and conditioning, women’s self-defense, and instructed children and teenagers aged 3 to 18 in the art of martial arts.
Furthermore, I have held the position of event manager, overseeing over 100 events, including Comic Con and Twitch Con. I have also been involved with Heart Radio and, unfortunately, the Route 91 Mandalay Bay massacre. As a first responder, I had the privilege of saving over 50 lives. It is important to note that my role at the event was as an event manager with the military activation.
I believe my story is unique and I aspire to share it with the world, highlighting the diverse experiences that have shaped me. At the same time, I want to emphasize that small changes can have a significant impact on the world, one step at a time. .
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, I feel that I have had some of the most roller coaster of stories and life that I know from anybody I go from being able to save people 91 days massacre 25 days later my mom passed away. Not to mention at the same time I was in the fire taking care of my grandma. I get sued for my drug addict aunt will that she was never a part of. Not to mention my trainer Scotty ended up passing away by a drunk driver hit again on his motorcycle. Let’s become the head coach while still the loss of somebody that I thought as a dad. I really think that my situation in my life so what I’m crying and what that says that means that there’s always gonna be the upside down it’s what you do with the situation that makes everything better.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Overall, I have a various agrees which goes into business administration, rap, design, multimedia fire science real estate, as well as I’m hoping to get finished with my helicopter license when it comes to jobs I feel like a pretty Universal. I pretty much work almost everywhere from a mechanic for my first job still working at Seaworld and reported five years during college teaching mixed martial arts, being a firefighter as well going to one of the biggest fires in the whole world, a.k.a. the Maui Fires as well as the LA fires. But also have a very beautiful and fun job that involves me being able to work beautiful events by Comic Con where I get dressed up as a Dragon Ball Z character and so forth.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Overall, I think that I take a lot of risk and I do it with the passion if it’s something that’s hard but I always will make sure that it’s possible and practical but at the same time I’m not wanting to dishonor or Nick Flex the influence is my mom and grandma gave me from something as simple as Teaching a kid how to be respectful and not to get bullied as well as making sure that a cat is safe in the La Fires way, I ended up carrying my leg in my knee, but at least I was able to see the chat. I think that overall that we are gonna take risk in order to build success and the rest is up to you on how you do it and how cautious you are with it.
