Meet Tyshawn Green of Pure Art Entertainment

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyshawn Green.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Tyshawn “Fade” Green is my name and I am an artist from San Diego, California, who is Experiencing life whilst trying to connect, follow and lead those around me. I am an aspiring entertainer, community activist, and all-around people pleaser; I have been writing stories, reciting poetry, and even auditioning for the camera since a young age. Influenced from a wide array of experienced veterans, I realized I was developing talent in writing poetic Hip hop, RnB and Rock lyrics infused with emotion and problems from my real life. I created my first song in the summer leading up to my sophomore year of high school. The song was entitled; “Dear Father”, and was made in response of the news of his father passing away in Connecticut; my home state. My main goal and intention for my music was and is to share my experiences with those around me through written expression with which I hope those who listen, could relate to, grow with and eventually love and support. I am the founder of the company, proudly named, “Pure Art Entertainment”, which I created back in 2011 and have grown and further co-lead with help from my Musical Manager, and company Organizer, Michael ‘Fino’ Ferrufino.

My love for this city, and the overall sadness I feel viewing the plight of those around me in the same city cause as myself made me create, Pure Art Entertainment. Wanting and knowingly needing a new platform for artists, entrepreneurs and businesses to come together so I could try to help everyone who is struggling in San Diego. This new collective is here “purely to Entertain, Publish, Promote, Inspire, and Create art. In other words, our mission is EPPIC.” -Fade Green

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
That is a great question. It has definitely not been a frictionless ride to the position we currently sit in. With many more trials to advance through, I am sure.

Some of the hardships that we, and I am positive many other businesses have gone through, is and was the turnover rate. Or rather, LOC, problems. Which I like to call ‘Lack Of Commitment’ problems.

Sometimes it is hard for those of us who can not and do not see or get the automatic reciprocation of the energy we put out like we feel we deserve, to continue towards that goal.

No name callouts, but that has happened quite a few times. All for naught usually, because most of the time they try again, but how you have to start from the beginning every time you reset yourself like that.

Morale is everything.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Pure Art Entertainment – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We, here at Pure Art, are partnered with local businesses here in San Diego and are growing our partnerships. We showcase, spread and promote products and services given and sold here in the city, through our platforms and events that we often throw, host, and are affiliated in through invitation.

We are a part of and help lead a strong community of local; business owners, entrepreneurs, artists/musicians, artists/painters, videographers/cinematographers, actors, models, dancers, engineers, producers and more. With this influence, we spread and bring awareness and promotions of local businesses to this community to help grow the wealth and economy of San Diego.

We firmly believe in the strong necessity of the support and uplifting of local businesses in order for a community to thrive. Our aim is to keep the dollars of San Diegans in the pockets of San Diegans to increase the prosperity of everyone. Through our events and through our communication and teachings we can do through community panels and speeches.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We look forward to expanding our reach to include even more businesses. We have plans for a plethora of wonderfully fun event ideas for the community to take part in. We look forward to continuing to work with the artists around us, further increasing our team, our worth and our assets to lend to everyone.

Stay tuned!
