We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Our company has been built primarily on referrals from relationships we have had for many years. After living in India for more than seven years, we relocated to San Diego where we did not know very many people so growing in this market has been much slower and resulted in our having clients primarily throughout the U.S. and Asia.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Nelson Cohen Global Consulting – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are known first and foremost for our work with leaders. Helping a leader to assess their current level and set a new bar for their careers, and by extension, life, in a transformed way. Leaders are often moved up the ladder and take with them the unrealistic expectation that this means they will need to do more and have all the answers. We help them identify their specific strengths and then to build their teams that complete the holistic needs of the organization.

Our services include helping set the strategy, comprehensive master level executive coaching and facilitation of learning and development initiatives that may have been identified in the discovery process from diagnostics and meetings with key stakeholders and employees at all levels.

We also help organizations to enhance employee engagement and retention. We do this through culture surveys and by partnering with our clients to implemented initiatives that bring people closer to the organizations and its leaders.

Finally, we provide team building services leveraging our BEST Team Ever process which brings teams small and large together. The team decides the most critical behaviors for success and then through our process, they implement and practice behaviors that bring the team together.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We primarily work in referral from our large network and the relationships we have with our existing clients. Our goal is not to be the biggest player; it’s to help people to grow their careers, have greater job satisfaction and to learn the tools to maximize relationships in all dimensions of their lives. As we seek to do this, we find ourselves working more and more with start-ups and purpose driven organizations.
