Hi James, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
When I opened the doors to Comprehensive Spinal Care in 2017, I had one simple mission: to create a place where patients felt truly heard, cared for, and confident in their journey to better spinal health. I wanted to build more than a clinic—I wanted to build a trusted space where people could find real solutions for their pain, improve their mobility, and restore their quality of life.
In the early days, it was just me, one assistant, and a commitment to delivering personalized, results-driven care. I believed that if we focused on listening to each patient’s story, understanding the root of their concerns, and using the most effective, evidence-based chiropractic techniques, our practice would grow organically. And it has—thanks to the trust and loyalty of our patients.
We’ve had the privilege of caring for people from all walks of life—athletes, parents, military veterans, working professionals, and retirees—each with their own goals for health and recovery. One of my favorite parts of this work is hearing from patients after their care, and the feedback we’ve received has been humbling:

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. Like many small businesses, we faced our share of challenges—navigating the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, temporarily closing our doors for safety, and even dealing with an unexpected office flood. Those moments tested our resilience, but they also reinforced why we do what we do. We stayed focused on our mission: providing compassionate, results-driven spinal care and being a trusted resource for our community. By keeping that purpose front and center, we trusted that we would not only recover, but continue to thrive. Today, those challenges have become part of our story—and a reminder of the strength that comes from commitment and care.
