Today we’d like to introduce you to Sandi Fletcher.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Born and raised in Del Mar since the 1960s, I feel incredibly fortunate to call this beautiful community home. Growing up on Sandy Lane, surrounded by family, ocean air, and generations of history, gave me a deep appreciation for the coastal lifestyle and the people who make North County so special.
I am a proud mother of three fifth-generation Fletchers. My oldest son, Stephen, is marrying Morgan this October, and my youngest, Charlie, will marry Kolby this August. My middle child, Riley, is married to Cadesman and recently made me a very proud grandmother to twin girls, Peyton and Parker Pope, who are moving to Texas this May. Family has always been at the center of my life and continues to be my greatest joy.
My roots in San Diego run deep. My great-grandfather, Colonel Ed Fletcher, played a major role in shaping the growth of the region by helping secure reliable water resources for San Diego County. From Fletcher Hills to Fletcher Cove, my family has been part of the fabric of this community for generations.
Real estate has also always been a part of my story. I learned the business working alongside my father at Stephen Fletcher Realty, gaining invaluable experience and a true understanding of the Del Mar and North County markets. Today, with the backing of Willis Allen and Forbes Global Properties, I continue that legacy by helping clients navigate some of the most exceptional coastal properties in San Diego.
Beyond real estate, I stay deeply involved in the community through philanthropy, local events, and organizations close to my heart, including the San Dieguito Boys & Girls Club, where my family’s legacy still lives on. Whether I’m working with clients, spending time with family, or simply enjoying the beauty of Del Mar, I remain grateful to live and work in the place that has shaped who I am.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Has it been a smooth road? For the most part, yes. I have been blessed with three healthy, beautiful children and an amazing family, but life has definitely brought its share of heartbreak and challenges along the way.
My brother, Stephen, was my Irish twin — we were only 10 months apart. Losing him at just 22 years old to congenital heart problems was devastating. It felt like I lost a piece of myself.
My mom, Carol Fletcher, was truly my best friend. We shared so much life together — from runway modeling to running marathons side by side. Sadly, we lost her to pancreatic cancer when she was only 65 years old. Her strength, grace, and love continue to inspire me every day.
I was married for 33 years, but that chapter came to an end when my former husband chose to reunite with his high school girlfriend. While painful at the time, that experience ultimately made me stronger. It pushed me to rediscover myself, find my independence, and have the courage to start over.
That new beginning led me into real estate, and it has truly been one of the best things to happen to me. Helping people find homes and guiding them through important moments in their lives has given me purpose, confidence, and a fresh passion for the future.
We’ve been impressed with Willis Allen Real Estate, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am Sandi Fletcher, a Del Mar native born and raised in this coastal community, and real estate is both my profession and my lifelong connection to the place I call home. I specialize in coastal luxury real estate throughout Del Mar and surrounding San Diego areas, helping clients navigate everything from legacy family estates to primary residences and investment properties.
What sets me apart is my deep local roots. I grew up on Sandy Lane in Del Mar, and my family’s history in this community spans generations. That gives me an instinctive understanding of neighborhood values, coastal lifestyle nuances, and opportunities that go beyond what is publicly listed.
I am proudly affiliated with Willis Allen Real Estate, a brokerage known for its integrity, heritage, and excellence in coastal San Diego real estate. This partnership allows me to deliver a true white-glove experience backed by one of the most respected names in the industry.
My brand is built on relationships, trust, and legacy. I am known for being highly personal, deeply involved, and committed to my clients beyond the transaction. Every client experience is handled with care, discretion, and attention to detail.
I am most proud of building a brand that reflects who I am: rooted in community, guided by legacy, and inspired by resilience. The sand dollar is a meaningful symbol in my brand—it represents strength, beauty, and continuity, much like the coastal homes and families I serve.
At the core, I don’t just sell homes—I help people transition into the next chapter of their lives with confidence, care, and a deep understanding of what makes this coastline so special.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was always very active and happiest when I was moving. Athletics were a big part of my life—I did triathlons with my mom and dad, and running quickly became one of my greatest passions. There’s something about pushing myself physically and being outdoors that has always grounded me.
I also grew up loving the beach life—volleyball, sand, surfing, sunshine, and that constant sense of energy that comes with being near the ocean. That lifestyle really shaped who I am today: upbeat, driven, and always on the go. Photgraphy is a passion of mine and I have photographed every year of my life and others.
Personality-wise, I’ve always been someone who stays busy and looks for the positive in every situation. I genuinely enjoy making people happy—it’s something that feels natural and very rewarding to me. At the center of everything, though, is family. That’s always been my foundation and my biggest priority, no matter where life has taken me.
