Today we’d like to introduce you to Bayley Keaney
Hi Bayley, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
BK Cosmetic Tattoos started in Sept 2020 during the pandemic. I had been pushed out of the bar industry in New York due to the pandemic and always wanted to try cosmetic tattooing and began with an online Microblading certification. I completed that and started working on friends that trusted me with their face and never looked back. Moved from New York to San Diego and worked along side Angi at La Doyenne where I stayed for 2 years before venturing out on my own and creating Studio BK Cosmetic Tattoos. I have over 20 certifications and specialize in natural brow, eyeliner, a lip blush tattoo.
I’ve always dabbled in a little bit of everything. The things that would allow me to live wherever I wanted. I’ve worked in hospitality, bar/restaurants, modeling, taught yoga, cut/colored hair, makeup, e-commerce, etc. I’ve always had very strong worth ethic and am overall a strong, resilient individual. When I decide to do something, I do it with 110%. I grew up in the Midwest and left at the age of 19, modeled all over the world throughout mostly China and Southeast Asia, worked at a couple awarded best bars in the world in New York, I can do anything I set my mind to and I think with this attitude and worth ethic that I’ve been able to get to where I am today.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I think that the road, no matter what you do, is going to have bumps. It’s about adapting and learning how to move forward.
I believe a good mindset helps with the smoothness of it all. Being a leader, your own hype women, and trusting in yourself. Being a perfectionist is great in this industry but at times it can be very challenging and I’m constantly working on balance and giving myself grace.

BK Cosmetic Tattoos is a studio downtown that specializes in natural cosmetic tattoo. We help people feel confident and beautiful with natural brow, eyeliner, and lip blush tattoo.
It’s important when choosing an artist that they are educated, talented, and experienced. I really take pride in my natural, custom high quality results and making sure clients are just as educated on the services they are having done.
I specialize in nano brows which is a machine hairstroke brow. A less invasive technique that is inclusive to all skin types. As well as lash line which is a soft natural eyeliner technique. No matter the service, it’s custom on goals, skin, and features.
What sets me apart from others is the overall experience and service provided. From start to finish, it’s all about the client and the experience. My techniques enhance and are natural. My studio is spa-like and luxurious. People think tattooing should be painful and uncomfortable. It’s the opposite at my studio and in my hands. This is time for the client, whether you want to connect and talk or have a nice nap, my clients are very comfortable during these services. An investment well made when it’s in yourself and in quality.
