Meet Daneyel Walker of Project Reo Collective

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daneyel Walker.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Daneyel. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
The Project Reo Collective family is part of the core members of Project Reo, a community-based organization set out to revitalize the neighbor of Paradise Hills.

We are five families that have come together to invest in our community and create a safe space where we can come together to enjoy local art, a delicious cup of coffee, and continue to connect with our neighbors.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
With five families to help it has been a smooth road. There is a strong team spirit among us. We all have each other’s back and never let each other fail. We also are having a great time and enjoy our journey, which is important to us.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Project Reo Collective story. Tell us more about the business.
We offer craft cups of coffee that feature in housemade syrups. We have two delicious syrups: Dulce De Canela and Vanilla both specially crafted by one of the owners.

We have monthly events that include Art shows, Literary Locals, Cupcake and coffee pairings and more.

We are most proud of the collaborations with other neighbors we have produced: Murals, Movie Nights, Cleanups, and Holiday events.

All of this sets us apart from others.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
We all have the same goals and similar dreams. If we were to say luck played a role it would be that we all found each other at the time we did and that we all had the same determination and willpower to make it happen.
