Meet Sammy Sosa of North park

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sammy Sosa

Hi Sammy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?

My names Sammy Sosa im a multi genre Producer and DJ my stage/artist name is PVRTOFME (part of me) Ive always had a love for all music since a young age due to my parents showing me a ton of different music that they grew up listening to but I started my music making journey in 2014 when one of my cousins opened my mind to playing the drums i then started learning all the basics and i played for a couple years fast forward to 2017 I always had a deep love for EDM music since i was 12 i told myself how can i make a sound that will stick throughout peoples lifes forever so i picked up music production and spent days hours and plenty of long nights learning through serveral tutorials and i finally came across a sound i was proud of and now currently at the age of 25 ive managed to play a couple shows in San diego LA and i have 9 singles 2 EPs out on all of my platforms currently with more projects to come in the near future

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?

My journey has been smooth for the most part of course theres always tests in life but the key is  to overcome them one by one and do the best to stay stress free and always control what you can to keep moving forward

Other then making music and playing shows i also work with a school district as a substitute and i love it alot due to being able to inspire and help the youth and also its flexible hours while i also attend college one thing that i truly feel sets me apart from others is my patience and determination and drive for obtaining what i want and i feel like its huge never to give up on what you want because life is unexpected and you only live it once so never waste a second.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years i plan to grow what ive created and inspire as many people as i can with any knowledge i could give and continue creating playing shows and sharing my sound hopefully touring in different parts of the world.
