Hi Abby, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I started SoCal Fun in Sun during my adventures with my son as a stay-at-home mom. I realized how much I loved finding new and exciting activities and sharing with other friends and families. I especially wanted to provide helpful reviews, tips, and suggestions of these areas for others before they visited. My goal is to travel and uncover more family-friendly locations to share with everyone along the way.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I am learning the ways of social media and creating a platform from ground up. I really enjoy what I’m doing, so seeing the growth is motivating and encouraging. I know when my posts are shared or saved; there are other people out there I’m helping get out and explore!

I created SoCal Fun in Sun while exploring different avenues of income while being a stay-at-home mom. I wanted to create a career that I was passionate about and truly loved doing. My mission is to share family-friendly activities in Southern California and inspire people everywhere to get out and explore. I also strive to support local businesses as much as possible and provide helpful reviews for the community.
The adventures I share range from local parks, hiking trails, theme parks, community events, and more.
I’m looking forward to building a larger network as this business grows.
What makes you happy?
What makes me happy is being outdoors, going to the gym, and spending time with family.
