Life & Work with Tyler Gallant of Simi Valley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyler Gallant.

Hi Tyler, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
I started acting when I was seven years old, doing home movies with my older cousins, friends, and my brother. That started me on my journey of loving Acting and film Making. In the midst of my journey in acting, I also played professional hockey for a few years. Hockey taught me work ethic, dedication, time management, and focus. These help me progress in the film business. Now I use the skills that I learned from professional sports into my mindset of being a professional actor. I have also branched into being an influencer for arts, fashion, and lifestyle. I have recently really enjoyed also coaching my Acting style and philosophy here in Los Angeles with coast-to-coast studios in Hollywood.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There have been many struggles coming up through the ranks as an actor and filmmaker. I didn’t grow up in a family that was connected in any way to the film industry, I also grew up in a blue-collar, hard-working family. I worked very hard for everything I got, and I continue too as well. I have learned a lot traveling this path, and I love the challenge.

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am mainly known for the films that I have been a part of as an actor. Most recently, my movie “space wars: quest for the Deepstar” has just had a theatrical run and is now available on streaming services. I have multiple other films that are also available on streaming services. I am known as a dramatic actor that also does stunts. I have had a lot of fun acting in action movies as of late. I think what sets me apart is I am a leading man type that can also play character roles, and I can do very physical characters as well. I look up to these actors creatively: Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Cillian, Murphy

Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I think to be successful in life; you have to take risks. I think if you play it safe all the time, you will never reach your highest pinnacle. I also think as an artist, you need to always take risks and push boundaries. Art should never be played safe.
