After more than two decades in the hospitality industry, I made the decision to pivot toward a deeper passion—beauty, skincare, and overall wellness. In 2020, I earned my esthetician license and began building a career centered on helping others look and feel their best. By 2024, I proudly opened my own business in North Park, San Diego, where I combine experience, care, and results-driven treatments to support each client’s unique skin journey.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting your own business is always a leap into the unknown, but like everything in life, it comes with natural ebbs and flows. There have been both challenges and rewarding moments along the way, but I feel incredibly fortunate to have built a loyal clientele that truly trusts and believes in me. Above all, I’ve learned the importance of giving yourself grace and trusting that, with time and persistence, everything will fall into place.

I also specialize in men’s skincare, waxing and wellness, with a strong commitment to providing a safe, comfortable space where men can confidently receive personalized care and support their overall well-being.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I’m not sure if I believe in luck or fate, but I do believe in the power of exceptional hospitality and genuine customer service. Amazing and genuine service is what keeps client relationships thriving! Things don’t always go as planned, and challenges are inevitable, but I’ve come to trust that everything serves a purpose. Taking the leap to start my own business was both intimidating and unexpected, yet it has become one of the greatest gifts and most meaningful blessings of my life and career.
